My wife had an urgent need for a root canal and we were referred to Dr. Engle for immediate help...like in the next hour emergency root canal. The staff upon arrival was set up with Dr. Engle and there was no wait for my wife. I met him briefly and he assured me they could handle it. I took care of the paperwork and insurance. I was disappointed that we were out of network on insurance but it was worth it. The staff throughout was wonderful. After days of meds and pain following the procedure my wife stabilized. She had two follow ups approximately a week apart and everything turned out wonderful. The best part was that they saved her tooth. Post four months no issues whatsoever. As it turned out the office worked with my insurance over weeks for the payment to be the same as in-network. No promises to others. An emergency root canal is not cheap. After the first two appointments for the dreaded chipped tooth, I was contacted by Konikoff Dental…read moreand was asked to transfer to another clinic due to my first review and was told that the previous Dr didn't feel like I was a good fit for her and her assistant and due to their previous actions I certainly agreed, yet they already removed my tooth and put a temporary tooth in its place, so I wanted to stay at the same clinic and asked to transfer Doctors, specifically one that my friend liked and they said they had to ask him and return my call. I was kind of in shock that they did half the work and then wanted me to transfer to a different dental clinic instead of transferring to a different doctor cause of my previous review. I was called back and told Doctor Miranda accepted to take me as a client and an appointment was made. When I went into my 3rd appt for my permanent tooth, dental hygienist Michelle was the one to greet me and she was very welcoming and took care of all the prep work for the permanent tooth. She walked me through everything and (I didn't even have to ask) and was kind and professional and put my dental anxiety at ease for sure. When Dr Miranda came in he too was professional and very much attentive and didn't make me feel like I was a bother or a burden at all. So time for the permanent tooth to be inserted. Well, it looked nothing like what my previous tooth looked like even after I tried talking to the previous hygienist and Dr about what it looked like cause I was concerned cause the temp tooth they put in my mouth wasn't anything what my tooth initially looked like. They assured me they had it noted and that they wanted it to look like a canine tooth, so again I asked them to not have it look like a canine tooth cause my other side doesn't look pointy like a canine or have a space. So I again I tried not to be upset by their actions and they're complete dismissal of virtually any clients simple requests, to be kind and to listen. Michelle and Dr Miranda noticed that the tooth wasn't symmetrical to my other side, noted it, took pictures and sent it back and I was scheduled for a 4th appt. Michelle was so kind to fix the previous temporary tooth before she put it back in, to look like what my precious tooth look like and polish it so it wasn't rough, and I didn't even tell her that my temp tooth that I sported for 3wks was sand papery feeling and rough, and didn't know it was possible to have a smooth temporary! Her attention to detail and care for the client is impeccable. Long story short I went to my 4th appt and the lab accidentally messed the tooth up, so a 5th appointment was made. I received a call from Michelle prior to my appt saying that she would not be available to be the hygienist and if I was comfortable with a different one. That gesture was especially kind. I let her know that I was comfortable with someone different, I trusted her and Dr Miranda. 5th appt came and I was greeted by Tiffany and she too was welcoming, professional and kind. I instantly felt at ease the entire process! She definitely has a heart for what she does and the client. All three that helped along the way are the reason why I chose to go with Konikoff again in the first place for my dental work. Exemplary performance, and professionalism is what I expected and didn't receive at first but definitely received at the end. I am now choosing Konikoff for my and my children's dental needs. Oh and 5th appointment was a charm cause the tooth was a perfect match!

He did so for me even though the tooth he worked on had a root canal and could not feel pain any more. I had to get a crown worked on right before surgery and he got me in and worked out a fix in order to avoid any dental issues being a problem. He tries to keep costs down and is so nonchalant about it. I trust him with my and my daughter's teeth and would recommend him to any and everyone. He is a genuinely caring person and will listen to your needs! I'm grateful for him.
