I saw a Volkswagen beetle come up for sale on EBay and it did not sell, I contacted the garage to…read moreensure the car was in the condition it stated (excellent) as I live 5hours 12minutes away so I was in trust with the garage that it was mint condition which he confirmed in our telephone call the night before and we arranged to come down on a long drive. After viewing the car, it hadnt even been cleaned and in a terrible state to which I asked the garage to clean the car while I have breakfast and I will return. Upon my return I saw the true condition of the paintwork and it was covered in contamination, road tar, flies etc which means it would need a good couple of days cleaning to the correct condition with a clay bar (I am a keen bodywork detailer). Not only that, the whole front end was covered in stone chips. The back bumper was a totally different shade of blue to the car and had cracks around the number plate lights. Also the seal was a different kind of blue. This garage is appalling and the manor of the Manager/owner who dealt with us was terrible. He was arguing about the state the car was in saying that it was excellent condition etc when it clearly want and after travelling over 5hours away we could not be bothered with the rubbish information we were provided with. Do NOT view cars with this company - they will rip you off!
