Then... after watering as advised for a few weeks, making sure to keep the dogs off, we noticed certain areas weren't taking root. Pretty soon, those areas started drying up and turning brown. Contacted again, via Facebook, received a reply that we should be patient, give it some time. Waited a few more weeks, contacted again. Was told that nothing could be done, as it was now December. Should wait till the spring. Waited till March, then a guy came out to take a look. Told us to give it a few more weeks, if not better they would replace with fresh sod, no problem. End of April, still not better. Spoke to same guy on the phone, this time he said he'd prefer NOT to re-do, as they don't really offer a guarantee. Maybe we could work out a deal to Said he'd never seen anything like what had happened with our yard before. Maybe the sod itself was bad? Said he'd discuss with the farmer and he would get back to me... That was 5/9/19, it's now 6/10/19 and still no word, despite my attempt at a follow up on 5/20/19. Don't get me wrong, these things happen, I understand that. But to ignore someone, hoping they'll go away is just not good business. Neither is saying you'll fix something, then saying you'd rather not.
