Tucked away in Dunscar Business Park in Bolton, I hadn't heard of this place before, but it's a hidden gem. I've been going for about 5 weeks now as my football team booked us in for weekly strength and conditioning sessions and they are some of the best I've done.
I've played football to a pretty high level and along the way have had some great and some shocking fitness/strength and conditioning coaches, but Alex down at Kept Fit is probably up there with the very best.
He's knowledgable and attentive to your goals and makes specific plans and training sessions to aid what you're there for - for us to be fitter on a football pitch, and it's most definitely working!
You can go down for private sessions or book on to a group class if that gives you the added motivation to work harder. Definitely recommend to anybody looking to lose weight, build muscle or just generally improve their fitness without the added pressure and uncomfortable nature of the big gyms!
