They have always gone the extra mile for our business and have always been quick to resolve any issue or questions we might have. I recently implemented their iSolve HIRE portal and it's a great all inclusive system. AHOLA did have a recent issue on October 25, 2019 with the 3rd party ACH (Automated Clearing House) which handles electronic transfers throughout the U.S.. However, the team at AHOLA worked throughout the night and the weekend to resolve the issues, forming new partnerships to ensure this issue never happens again. How any companies out there would go that extra mile to implement corrective action so quickly and only losing one business day. It's a testament to their business resolve and as a Human Resource Manager, I am glad to have them and their resources available to me.

I was recommended to Carey & Associates through an existing client of theirs who has left a 5-star…read morereview. It seems that Carey & Associates is able to take care of their existing clientele, but based on recent reviews and my own personal experience, they are completely and utterly understaffed to tackle a single ounce of additional workload. I had every last document digitally uploaded through their taxdome software and ready for review and filing by March 3, 2025 (screenshot for reference). I called and called, asking the receptionist for an update on my 2024 tax filing status, and each time Josh was either out of the office, or at an appointment and unable to communicate. This same interaction with the receptionist happened at least a dozen more times. April 15th came and went and I had no update on my tax filing. I called and spoke with the receptionist again in early May who told me that Josh hadn't gotten around to filing my taxes, but that he did file an extension on my behalf. I was relieved, as this was the first time I had received any acknowledgment that my file even existed to them. Later in May, I spoke with Josh over the phone the week before Memorial Day weekend. He told me that he had NOT in fact filed an extension on my behalf, and that he would aim to get my taxes done before the holiday weekend approaching. It is July 1st, 2025, and my taxes are still not filed. Please, save yourselves the headache, trust the big brands with your taxes and get them done. I'll be contacting one today and filing my taxes late due to the immense incompetence and lack of care within Carey & Associates. 10/10 would NOT recommend.

It was the same excuse, he's hasn't done them yet or they were still waiting for a document from me in which I already gave them. I must have heard those lines at least 30 times. Today, June 8, 2022, I went to the office to gather my files to give them to another cpa, the secretary stated they don't have any paperwork from me. Lol. I wish there was a way I could post screenshots of emails on this review. I never wish bad things on anyone, so I do hope they can get things turned around and become a professional cpa office in Wadsworth. I'll be curious to see how they defend this review because everything up to this point has been one excuse after another. Ps. Just received a letter from the IRS last week. Josh underestimated what I owe so I now owe another $284. Thanks.
