    Fab entrance to the fun!

No better place for gifts or KY pride items for yourself. Creativity abounds in everything they sell. Fun spot, excellent service, and great local items. Online ordering is a breeze if, on the off chance, they don't have your item in stock. In store pickup available too. Make this a stop for every holiday and every visitor!

It was worth going here just to see the cocaine bear, but they have so much amazing (and funny) Kentucky merch we had to get some.

Such a random, eclectic and necessary store! This place has all things Kentucky pride and has all the niche interests too if you're a lover of bigfoot, possums and the cocain bear. Definitely a unique place to get some great quality shirts and always great to support Kentucky businesses.

I absolutely loved this store. It is fun, inclusive, and offers a variety of unique local merchandise. The highlight, of course, is the Cocaine Bear shrine. I especially loved the Labor Day sale prices!

Really cool shop with lots of Kentucky branded items. There were t-shirts, stickers, candles, hats, socks and even horse poop!

Where can you go to find fried chicken, bourbon ball and mint julep scented candles? How about kentucky socks that are either blue and white or red and white depending on your favorite kentucky team? How about a shirt that has a picture of Kentucky and says "born and breaded"? The answer to all of these questions is the Kentucky for Kentucky Store! There are so many kentucky themed items at this store. It's located at 720 Bryan Ave (the place where the night market is held in the summer months), near fleet street barbershop, Minton's cafe and Charmed Life Tattoo Shop. This is a funky space close to the hipster area known as N.Limestone or N.Li. I want one of every shirt. If you believe Kentucky Kicks Ass, you need to stop by here and pick up a few items. They have stickers, socks, glassware, art prints, t-shirts, candles, little baby onesies that say "kentucky kicks ass", and so much more.

This place is a wonderland for people interested in buying some unique Kentucky curios. The staff are knowledgeable about Kentucky esoterica to the point that I felt like the place could be a museum too. Military discount offered.

I personally walked away with two items form two different artists on my trip here. I purchased a university of louisville license plate decoration for my self and Burbon Barrel university of Kentucky coat rack for my brothers Christmas present. Overall I really enjoyed This shop. I was impressed with their layout and various items that I returned the next day to buy some souvenirs to give my family. With parking plentiful and short walking distance from all points downtown -- bars, restaurants, and all, you can come to Artists Barrel for various odds and ends-type of purchases. In my visit to the Artists Barrel, I bought Kentucky hats for my Dad and Stepmother, a Kentucky hanging ornament and a bourbon scented candle for my Mom, and a pair of bourbon boxers for my Aunt. It was quite a joyous morning considering I was hoping to do all of my souvenir shopping at one spot and did so at Artists Barrel successfully. Overall, Artists Barrel had everything for what I was seeking during my trip to Bardstown.

What I want to know is how it hopes to capitalize in the beverage market? Pepsi and Coke are the powerhouses and I think this drink could do better. You know what was great about Sprite? The fact that people drank it on stomachaches, it actually did something. Now, this drink adds in ginger? you know what ginger does? Exactly! So why not put cane sugar in this thing, along with ginger and naturalize it? High fructose is one of the worst ingredients anyone could put in a beverage, although, extremely cheap wink wink. So the next time, you should want to make a high quality drink, change to cane sugar, put more ginger in it, keep the carbonation and voila! See? You can find a lot of local sports team merch here too. I picked up a couple of magnets and a WKRP sticker. For those not in the know, WKRP used to be an old sitcom from the late 70's-80's about a radio station in Cincinnati. The shop is located on the 2nd floor of the historic art deco style Carew Tower. Ghost town vibes for sure however the grand architecture within the building is worth walking around in. The only difficulty we had was finding parking. We arranged a tour of the facility in combination with a river cruise on the Kentucky River. We signed in for our tour early, so we could shop in the distillery gift shop. I spent several hundred dollars in the gift shop buying special bourbons that you can only purchase at the distillery. I even bought Buffalo Trace dog treats. Plan at least an hour for shopping as lines are long. Fred was our tour guide. Fred was knowledgeable, humorous, interesting and passionate about Buffalo Trace. We learned the history of the distillery, saw how barrels are made, transported and stored and saw the bottling process for the Blanton bourbons. We concluded our tour with a tasting of four bourbons and a sample Kentucky Bourbon Ball. Unfortunately, the tasting was a bit rushed for us. The bourbons were good and I would have liked to make additional purchases after the tasting, but we were not able to because of the timeline for the river cruise. Parking is free. The line to check ids is long but moves quickly. There are restrooms available. I'm told dogs and kids are welcome with some restrictions, but I didn't see any. The tour of Buffalo Trace should be on every bourbon drinker or history buff's bucket list. I want to go back.
