However when I clicked on the "view your order" I was immediately suspicious as the response was no such website? Tried calling and emailing the store unsuccessfully. Thankfully I'd used my credit card so I immediately (within 6 hours) reported it to my bank and they blocked the payment. I visited the shop in march to buy a Wallbed. James was very helpful and informative even though I was 20 minutes late and he had someone else to see. Although he showed me a variety of things and possibilities, he didn't try to oversell. In the end, due to contract issues, I couldn't order my bed until october, but he was helpful and remembered who I was, so I didn't have to start from scratch. 2 lovely men came to build the bed, they were helpful, friendly and polite. They did a great job. My bed is fantastic! While I waited for it to arrive, I regretted spending so much money on it, but once I got it, all my regrets were gone. I bought the comfort bed in king size with the shelves at the back and the lamps. The lamps are actually much better than the ones in the catalogue. The first day, I lay on it for 5 minutes and woke up 12 hours later. Another plus I didn't know about, you can move the sofa if you like, so you can use both at the same time if necessary. The quality is excellent, it's very easy to use. Some people ask me if it isn't too much work to close the bed every day, but it doesn't take more time than it would to make a normal bed nicely. (it doesn't have to look perfect as you close it) I chose a firm mattress, but there are other options. I don't know about those, but my mattress is fantastic. I have never before slept more than five hours a night, and usually I would wake up in the middle, but no more!! I sleep eight hours at least a day, I was late for work the first week I had it. I needed to clear my two bedrooms of clutter, and make the spare room useable. I had a brainwave, what about a Murphy bed? I did some internet searching and came up with The London Wall Bed Company. After a brief email and telephone exchange, I went to their showroom in Acton where I met with James. We had a chat during which he skillfully, quickly and efficiently got an idea of my needs and showed me a range of products that would suit them. I left once we'd agreed on the right product which took around an hour, maybe less. Within 24 hours, I had received by email two estimates one for a fold down bed with wardrobes and one without as well as sketches based on the measurements I'd come up with. I thought I might try and reduce the cost by buying ready made wardrobes, but I decided that it would look better and be less hassle if I went for the version with wardrobes. I paid a deposit and arranged for James to come down to Brighton and take actual measurements of the room. The order went in and my wall bed was delivered and fitted about six weeks later. I now have a spare room which I can use as a dressing room, a wardrobe and an office (there's a fold down desk attached to the bed which I can use when the bed's not in use). In fact, what I do is give up my main bedroom when people come to stay and sleep in the Murphy bed myself, it's like being a kid again and means I keep all my stuff in the back bedroom and bathroom and I don't have to keep it too clean and tidy! I now have room for a sofa in my main bedroom which feels very luxurious because before it was full of clothes storage! I love service I got, I love the wardrobes, and I love the bed, I also love the fact that my flat feels bigger and less cluttered. James understood my needs, he wasn't in the slightest bit pushy and he got the job done in the agreed time frame for the agreed price. This is a perfect solution to a problem I've had for 15 years.

Next day a friendly call from Isolde to advise me she will happily keep my item ready for collection next day. Wow, what a little secret this store is, tucked away. No frills or anything fancy. But clean, very well organised and professional. Isolde had answers to all of my questions about the wool topper. I managed to find out that she has been there for 19 years, and yes she is Austrian. This shop also does duvet cleaning, including refilling, adding more feathers/removing feathers, plus making up special size duvets. Is that a service or what! ABC sell silk, down and wool duvets, including of course wool toppers. I slept like a film star last night. Got out of bed and felt fanstastic. Oh while I remember there is a 10% sale for all personal (walk in) and telephone customer orders. This won't last though, I'm getting another wool topper. If you are going to treat yourself to anything this year in the sales a topper or duvet from this store is a must. Trust me it will be the best money you have ever spent.

So in the end we returned to the store on the 19th October to get my money refunded, so five months of my time wasted. I would never ever recommend this store to anyone.

It takes an hour to get through. They would promise to ring me and then they'd ring my land line despite me giving them my mobile and telling them I would not be home. They closed the case saying they could not get hold of me. I went to the shop and there were customers yelling at the staff due to problems one was on old Irish man who said his wife was too distraught to come to the shop. The other was a young man who said his disabled parents had received faulty goods with no solution. The man I spoke to a tall Asian man mocked me until I cried. After numerous calls they sent an engineer who did a test within 5 mins and didn't even lie on mattress and said the bed was fine and the case was closed. The bed is 4 months old. I am now thinking of going to the small claims court.

Inside you'll find garden furniture galore, BBQs, water features, pet supplies, tools and lots more. At Christmas they have a big selection of tree decorations, as well as cut and living trees. What really helps to make this place special is the aquatic section - it's like a mini aquarium. Whenever we come here as a family we must go to the aquatic section to look at the beautiful tropical fish, the slimy snails and the koi carp, to name but a few. I've always found the staff helpful. If they didn't know the answer they would get someone who does. If you're looking for something for the garden, you may want to try here. I certainly never seem to leave empty handed.
