We had a snakebite which consists of angry orchard and Guinness beer at home but here it was a type of grenadine, Peroni and an Irish beer. Super delicious. We came every night during our four night stay, and it was always a great atmosphere inside and out. The downstairs bar has a great beer selection. If you look behind the bar, they have shelves with all the bottles, labeled by style. We tried a few new barrel aged stouts we had never come across, some of which were solid 10/10 beers. The food puts them over the top. The cheddar burger is a tasty burger, but the fries. Oh these fries. They are so crispy, so salty, and almost pinched in the middle so they have a little curl. They are so delicious, a real treat to end a long day's wanderin'. Bonus points because all the staff we interacted with was lovely every time we visited.

A buddy of mine and I were looking for a place with good craft beer variety in Bologna. BrewDog did…read morethe trick! It's a little out of the city center, so the parking's a bit better, but only a bit. We both ordered the BrewDog Punk IPA, a standard West Coast IPA, which was decent. I even ordered another. I got the Salmon LT sandwich, a club with salmon as opposed to bacon. Toasted, which is common in this region of Italy. Tasty, although I might have enjoyed it with a little less cream cheese. My buddy ordered the hamburger with guacamole. The burger bordered on raw, but je enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and helpful, letting us sample some of the beers before we ordered. It's a good-sized place with tons of tables, inside and out. We arrived about 6:30, and the place was mostly empty. But it filled quickly after 7 with many folks stopping for a beer and snack after work.
