Please call Concord Township and ask them not to close this really nice park!! This is a very nice dog park with a lot of room for small and large dogs!! It can get a little crowded on the weekends and early evening of weekdays. But if you catch it at an off time, you will have the whole park to yourself. It appears that this was an estate that was left to the township. The two sides, large and small dogs, were both horse paddocks with chicken wire attached to the original wooden fence. The small dog side is almost all grass and the big dog side is almost all mulch. There are lots of bag dispensers, trash cans, and even a water fountain in the warmer months. If you like this park, please call Concord Township and ask them to keep it open!!

It has multiple levels, platforms, tubes, benches, tables, toys, and water. The parking lot is gigantic and there are trails nearby for walks. Of course poop bags are also available on-site. As with all dog parks, but especially this one because it is so popular, you are going to encounter irresponsible owners and badly behaved dogs. I have seen owners glued to their phones, with headphones in, smoking cigarettes and completely ignoring the fact that their dog is either taking a sh!t or acting aggressively. I have seen folks arguing about whether an aggressive dog belongs in the park. And lastly, cars do get robbed. Don't leave valuables in your car! Pay attention and stay engaged, and hopefully you and your pup(s) will have a great time.

They have a smaller side for small dogs and the big dog space is hugeeee. Kinda wish the smaller side was just as interactive. There's a hose/ water fountain on both sides and plenty of balls. Either way, my 20-25lbs pups enjoyed both sides and were tired as heck after. The fellow dog owners were fairly friendly and were watching their pups. I'm sure there are a few who aren't as attentive but luckily I didn't run into those folks. This will be our dog park from here forward.

When you arrive at the corner of 25th and Spruce, you walk straight back towards the direction of the river and find two different dog park spaces. One is for small dogs (with a specific weight restriction) and older, low energy dogs. The other is for dogs of all sizes, so it is typically larger dogs. Our 12ish pound cavapoo likes both park options. There are always dog bowls and access to running water. In the summer, there are little plastic pools for the dogs to cool off in. While my dog doesn't love the pool option, he does appreciate the water bowls! Most of the dog parents that bring their fur babies to the park are very friendly and respectful.

Good spot, easy to forget it's still in the city…read more I've been here a handful of times, usually after work or on weekends when I need to get outside for a bit. Once you're on the trails it gets surprisingly quiet. Like, noticeably quieter than you'd expect from somewhere still technically inside Philadelphia. The paths are mostly flat gravel so it's not a hard walk at all. I tend to stop on the boardwalks and just look out over the marsh for a few minutes. Last time there were a few turtles lined up on a log, and I'm pretty sure I spotted a couple of herons near the water too. You do hear planes since the airport's close by, but it doesn't really bother me. Kind of adds to the strangeness of the place in a way I actually like. One thing worth knowing: the mosquitoes are no joke. I skipped bug spray once and regretted it pretty quickly. If you're going in summer, just bring some, especially if you're planning to hang around near the water.
