After a long day of driving the Cabot Trail, we returned to Sydney late. Kenny's Pizza was open and an inviting sight! Parking is ample and with 11 people to feed, we were glad to have the space mostly to ourselves. We ordered a large veggie pizza with peppers and one with ham and pineapple. The pizzas were pipping hot and delicious... We also ordered small bites - mozzerlla sticks, fried pickles... which were very tasty! However, they came out after we got our pizzas! Needing more, we ordered another meat pizza which came out fresh and in no time! All in all, this place offered a variety of pizza and food options. We tried their toasted sub sandwich... which gets a quick run through the oven so that the cheese gets all melty! There are lots of different drink options and sides to satisfy everyone! read more

My 2nd favorite pizza in Cape Breton, followed by Napoli (which Kenny's obviously has based itself on years ago when they opened to create the main competition). When I visit my parents in Sydney, we always go for Napoli but a few times have gotten here, so I decided to introduce it to a friend on a sunny Good Friday when he was home visiting as well. We ate in and there was only one other customer in there at the time. Didn't wait very long for our 12" Deluxe pizza to be ready (green pepper, mushroom, pepperoni, onion, bacon.) I ate two slices and my friend devoured three, being very impressed with the toppings, crust and overall flavor. The atmosphere for seating is nicer than Napoli's with some booths by the window, high-chaired tables and warmer lighting. Seating for maybe 20? I'd go back here anytime and I actually am anxious to try their non-pizza menu items for a change. read more

We came downtown looking for Napolis Pizza but it was closed. So we settled for this place. It's a typical chain pizza anywhere. To me it is not worth coming. If I'm going to have pizza, it should be so darn good that I start to think it's worth putting that kind of junk in my body So we had the slices, combination and pepperoni. The combination was a little better than the pepperoni. Both were dry, but somehow the crust was soggy/chewy, and both were bland, but the combination had more flavor. We also tried the dipping sauces, which were creamy garlic and cheddar chipotle. They're Heinz brand. The creamy garlic reminds me of a thick ranch dressing, but with less flavor. The chipotle cheddar was also very mildly flavored but has a tiny bit of heat if you like that sort of thing. Overall this is probably just like what you expect from chain pizza, but to me it's one of the lesser chains. I would compare it to Hungry Howies in the US, but maybe even less flavor. read more

Rated it a 1 cause it wouldn't rate lower. If you like real pizza then you wouldn't order from here. Tastes like convection processed blaaa. With it opened later then some, I had to resort to here a couple times, kept trying different things with the same results. Now I avoid them like a plague. read more
