Extremely Disappointed With This Representation…read more I paid this law firm $5,000 for representation, and I honestly feel like I received little to no value for that money. Throughout my case, there was so much miscommunication that I was left without a clear understanding of what my sentence would actually involve and what would be expected of me. I repeatedly felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, my questions were not properly answered, and important details about my plea, probation, and license were not clearly explained to me. I often had to chase down answers myself and do my own research just to understand what was happening with my own case. When I did speak with my attorney, I often felt talked down to and treated as though my questions were a burden. I expected professional communication and patience, especially considering the amount of money I paid for representation. For $5,000, I expected someone who would communicate with me, prepare me, explain my options, listen to my concerns, and actually advocate for me. Instead, I felt like my case was treated as though it wasn't important. Quite honestly, I feel I would have received the same level of attention from a free public defender--and at least then I wouldn't have paid $5,000 expecting personalized legal representation. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this firm to anyone who expects their attorney to communicate with them, treat them with respect, answer their questions, and genuinely advocate for their interests. $5,000 is a significant amount of money. I expected significantly more than what I received.

After getting severely injured in a car accident and was unable to work I decided to find a lawyer…read moreand see if I had a personal injury case. I originally went with a different law firm but was very unhappy with their service. My husband had used MCV Law for workers comp and we found out they also work with personal injury within the firm, we decided to make an appointment and see what they have to say about my MVA. After speaking with Patricia Stegeman for over an hour we decided right then and there to transfer the case over to MCV Law and for the next 4 1/2 years I have not regretted that decision. Alicia Loomis, Patricia and the other attorneys on this case worked diligently over the last several years trying to get me what we all thought was deserved. They kept me informed every step of the way during this entire head pounding process and in the end cheered for me when everything was finalized. This law firm is one of the best low key law firms in Centeral NY and I would recommend them to any family or friends that ever end up in a predicament like mine!

Right from the get go I could see how detail orientated he was. I have never met him at this point so I felt like an idiot explaining what happened and answering all of his questions (and for some questions I had no answer too) and I even told him that, but he put me at ease and continued to make me feel comfortable with the process. I'm not going to bore you with details of my case and how long the process was but my wife and I were so very pleased with James Alexander himself, his great son Jack and with all of the staff that we personally dealt with. All were professional, kind, calming voices when I needed it and the back and forth communication was excellent. I would definitely recommend his law firm if you are looking for a Personal Injury Attorney.
