Definitely the way to go to Wrangle St Elias NP. It was great to share with other Alaskan travelers on the ride in and out. (jfyi-Five hours in the park is enough.) Now, most of our phone info was with a Neil who was very informative. But, we had a driver named Jason and he just pointed out the 'accident sites'. We had to ask him questions to get info on the 5 hours in the van. We would prefer more history and wildlife talking. Once we saw a group with binoculars out, and he went past without stopping. We had been told of wildlife seen by others in their personal cars and the ad suggest wildlife along the way, so we will always wonder what we could have seen. read more
