In Dec 2019 I was quoted by Jeff Walstrom $775 for health ins. for the 2020 year. I agreed to the…read morepolicy and enrolled in auto debit for the pmts. In Jan of 2020, I received an email from Jeff Walstrom stating my ins. would go up to $910 a month effective Feb 1, 2020. I complained and reminded him he quoted me less than 30 days ago, so he agreed to honor the $775 price through May of 2020. In May of 2020, I was charged 910.00 which was not supposed to happen until June of 2020. Then in June of 2020, I was auto debited $1035 without any notification from Jeff Walstrom or BCBS. I emailed him several times and sent him a copies of the rate sheet he provided. Jeff stated the rates increased again in June and the rate sheet was now expired. Now I am paying over $1035 a month for a policy that was originally quoted at $775. My rate was increased of $261.76 in 6 months. I also never approved the auto debit amounts to raise or be changed without my knowledge, so I am filing a BBB complaint. Jeff Walstrom is not a good agent, nor is he good with communication, nor does he follow-up on anything. He quotes you and enrolls you into auto debit, then takes more money that he is supposed to. CHECK YOUR AUTO DEBIT if you have a policy with him.

Paid $450 on 5/3/25 for it. I would follow up asking for an update and the response was "I'll talk to so and so today" with zero follow up until I contacted again. Then got the run around saying they'll talk to someone today. So as of 2/11/26 it was still not complete so I cancelled my service immediately and asked for a refund. Filed the paperwork the next day with the state myself. I would like to have the owner reach out and address the issue, but I don't expect it as quality has gone downhill.

They do not answer their phone, return any email. I'm sad to have to post here, but this is the worst experience. Shame on them for their behavior in 2022, shame on use for thinking they would behave differently this year. We will be reporting them to the BBB and the Kansas Board of Accountancy and the IRS.

Extremely unprofessional firm on all levels. I took my tax needs to Brent Talley. He told me his…read moreteam had time to do them, and they could turn them around quickly. I then heard nothing from him. I contacted him again after a month to learn he had not yet touched them. At that time, he told me they would be done almost exactly a month later. Again, I heard nothing from him. I contacted him just after the deadline date to request status. He did not return my email. I waited a week and attempted to contact him again. He did not respond. I then called the firm and asked the receptionist for his supervisor's information. She was rude and told me she did not know. She told me she would have to take my message to Brent. I asked her not to and explained I needed to talk to the supervisor directly. Shortly later, I got an email from Brent firing me as a client with completely ridiculous reasons why he would not be able to deal with my taxes for over two months (which would have been four months since I submitted to him). Being that he knew I was attempting to speak with his supervisor, he needed to quickly get rid of me. I responded copying several people in the company in attempt to get it to his supervisor as I had been refused that information. I also felt his behavior outrageous enough that people needed to know how he treats clients, and I was justifiably upset. I then received a call from the supervisor the following Monday. She told me I was wrong to copy leadership. I apologized. I think I had good reasons. She insisted repeatedly that I had personally called her a liar in that email response. That was by far the main issue she wanted to talk about and confront me with. I explained to her that she was terribly mistaken, and it referred to the receptionist who told me she would not take my request to Brent and then did. I did not even know Carol was his supervisor at that point. She insisted I referred to "Carol" as the liar. I did not. There is no logic here. I read her the email I had opened in front of me. She further told me this issue interrupted her PTO time with her family the day this took place. Because I copied leadership members, her false accusation that I called her a liar, and her being bothered with this while with family, she indeed fully dismissed me as a client. She abruptly ended the conversation telling me to go back and read the email I wrote, absolutely determined to use this false belief as her main excuse to deny further service. Absolutely bizarre behavior and I am left completely shocked and now two months further behind on taxes.
