How lucky is that? ...I mean, to have a hurricane on your wedding day? Well. I'm glad I had a good photographer to document it! The pictures were beautiful and high quality. I would have worked a bit more on the settings and trying to remove people from the back of each photo, or the arrangement of tall / short guests contrast, but in general the result was pretty amazing.

Of all the photographers present at the gala, their shots had the most candid feel to them, so I reached out to see if they did weddings. As it turns out, they hadn't done a ton of weddings yet, but were expanding their business to that realm. At first, we weren't sure if we wanted to take the risk of going with a photographer that had limited experience shooting weddings, but one meeting with the Truitt's and we immediately knew they were the photographer for us. They are both so cool, relaxed, and very real -- they got to know us personally, rather than just speak to us like a potential client. It was a refreshing departure from some of the other, far more expensive photographers we spoke to. Steve & Maria offer the best value for a couple's dollar that we found, particularly while building their portfolio of weddings. While other photographers were charging astronomical prices for a mere 5 hours of shooting + an engagement shoot OR album inclusive of "20 free pictures," the Truitt's gave us 10 hours of photography + videography + an engagement shoot that lasted 5 hours + ALL photos, for a fraction of the cost of other photographers in the area. What's more, we're absolutely thrilled with the pictures and our family & friends can't get enough of them. If you're looking for a fantastic photographer, I highly recommend these two!

Although Steve had his wedding to plan, he was accommodating with dates for the shoot. He e-mailed to let me know he had arrived early to the photo shoot, at Burke Lake, and to inform me of how busy the place was that day. Once we arrived, we made a game plan and Steve went right to work. He was wonderful with our three-year-old daughter. Normally, she is shy around new people and will not open up but she took right to Steve and provided him with beautiful smiles. He made it a game with her so she relaxed more. As the shoot continued, our daughter started to become bored and Steve was completely patience and understanding. We will be using Truitt Media for our future photos. Thanks for the great experience.

Abram's photo-journalistic style makes him almost invisible during the actual event, and yet, he seemed to get shots of every part of the day we wanted. When Milton's name was passed along to me, I immediately knew that he was our man! Milton met with us face-to-face throughout the planning process to make sure we were all on the same page. He was accommodating, professional, and organized, but also fun and down-to-earth. We had complete confidence in him from the beginning! Of the many anxieties encountered during the planning process, the photography was never one of them. During our engagement shoot and during our big day, Milton was there on time and was fully prepared. We had a larger wedding, but he brought an extra photographer to make sure he didn't miss a beat. It was obvious he had "visions" and set up some amazing shots that I would never think of. He captured every special moment in an unobtrusive way. He sent us some "sneak peak" pictures before the full load was ready. I appreciated having something to look at in the meantime. Now, I have SO many pictures to make decisions about, which is especially difficult because they are all so beautiful. I can't wait to fill all these empty picture frames strewn about our home. Please, take a look at his website. That's what hooked me. He's without a doubt a talented man!

Milton's wedding day package was very reasonable and was one of the few that would accommodate what we needed. We could've went the Vietnamese vendor route-but decided with Milton because of the quality and skills of his photographs and reasonable pricing. We got a face to face meeting with them plus an engagement session prior to the wedding day. In addition, we talked prior to the wedding day to make sure everything is settled. Milton was very responsive and answered all our questions prior to our photo shoots. We have many wonderful pictures from our wedding day that we enjoyed, especially the candid ones.
