Excellent and thorough. Took the time to explain everything and put me on a treatment plan that got me back to running quickly

I raised these concerns at multiple follow-up visits but was repeatedly told everything was "on plan" and that I was "right on trajectory," without any guidance or plan to address the numbness. My concerns were not reflected in my medical records as discussed during appointments. When symptoms did not improve, I sought out another physician on my own in an effort to regain feeling. While there was brief initial interest, there was no follow-up or coordination of care. A year later, I still do not have normal sensation and continue to experience considerable nerve pain. I have since transferred care to a highly regarded orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon, who is now evaluating whether a nerve injury may have occurred. My experience was that when complications arose, I did not feel supported or guided through next steps. I would encourage patients to ask detailed questions about post-operative complications and follow-up care before proceeding. I would not return for care. This has significantly impacted my quality of life. Resident in Grapevine, TX. Not sure why it says elsewhere.

This past February (2015) I had surgery to remove a bunion…read more Needless to say, after three months I felt like something was not quite right. My toe was crooked and just looked odd. I reviewed different podiatrists in my area and found good reviews about Doctor Marciano. I went in for an appointment and was so glad I did. The X-ray's showed that the first procedure was a 'mess' (my term) and after speaking with Dr Marciano, I was very reassured and confident that he was the best podiatrist to put my trust in. Yes, I had a 'redo' surgery and it was so very worth it. Dr Marciano lived up to every word he said and more. I know that he worked hard in surgery as the results were better than I expected. I recommend Dr Marciano to anybody who is looking for a podiatrist who's standards are above the norm. And I also received flowers from him and the staff. That meant a lot to me since I was having this done a second time. In the future, I will be going back to have surgery on my other foot. Sincerely, Cindy Columbia

The two young women at the front desk were unfriendly and didn't smile or acknowledge me warmly. To make matters worse, the person who checked me out after my visit overcharged me by nearly $100 and argued with me about my insurance coverage. I'm still waiting on my refund! There were other issues as well, but I'll leave it at that. I genuinely hope my experience was not the "norm" for this clinic. While I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, I won't be returning.
