I was about home a week from hip surgery, but was able to use my walker and show JC what I wanted done. The sill is rotten, time to go. I also figure why not replace a few doors at same time. I tried to reach the Kennebunkport/Portland location where my windows came from. It is somewhere between 100% and 1000% impossible to reach them to discuss in a normal manner. Ie can I send you a photo of window and approximate dimensions so we can discuss budget? Nope- the local 207 number goes to a data center that wants to collect all our information before an "IN HOME CONSULTATION". Knowing a sales pitch similar to a used car salesman I declined. So my house will be full of Renewal by Andersen, except for 1 window. I dont care if I put a piece of plywood over it. I won't deal with them anymore. I explained that I had my first summer rental tenants coming on Saturday and I need two of the shower stalls (installed three years ago) repaired because of settling on our new home. My call to Dave was on Thursday and although they were swamped with business he asked one of his technicians Chris to be dispatched to do the repair the next day on Friday. Although Chris had to do some serious surgery on the stationary panel Chris did an amazing job in getting everything aligned properly on both shower stalls, and even returned to finish the second one with no additional charge. They are the best. Thanks to Dave, Chris, and Cassidy (the "dispatcher"). A great team!!! Ken Latour
