I brought a 4-year-old coffee machine to the Kenilworth Electrical Service. The machine stopped frothing milk through the carafe but other than that it was perfectly fine. One day after I dropped the machine off I received a call to say that the machine is working fine, there was only a bit cleaning done and I've been charged €38 for it. After I brought the machine home I realised that nothing has been fixed at all. I brought it back again and demonstrated video of the issue and explained the problem once again. They took it for a repair again with telling me that they would fix it without any charge. After a week or so I've got a call that they need more time to order a valve. Ok. After another 2 weeks, I call the shop and they said that the problem is bigger than they thought and it will cost €160, so my machine is not worth repairing. The guy tried to charge me extra €20 for assembling the parts together, I said that I will not pay as nothing has been fixed twice and I already paid €38. After that, the guy tried to sell me another used machine. I came to the shop and took back my coffee machine, was refunded €38. But when I plugged my machine at home all the lights were flashing and the machine stopped working at all. Avoid! read more
