My wife, Sarah, was referred to a specialist to have a tooth extracted due to it touching a nerve and the fact that she has a major reaction to epinephrine in the normal novocaine shot. The specialist has a different shot they use for those that are sensitive. She waited over two weeks for this appointment, in constant pain and losing sleep because of it. And today is finally the day. We get there, she fills out the paperwork, and gets called back. The nurse gets her ready, and puts some local anesthetic on the area to get ready for the shot. The dentist is getting ready to do it and Sarah asks if he's using the right shot. He says, "I'm using what I've always used for 20 years". She informs him that she has a reaction to the regular shot. He then raises his voice and says, "do you want the tooth out or not?" She sits up and he pushes her up out of the chair and says "then leave". She looked at the nurse and said "are you kidding me? Does he always treat people like this?" The nurse said, "I can't answer that", and just cowered in the corner. Sarah then walked out of the room in complete tears and came out to the lobby, where I was waiting. DO NOT have work done by this dentist and if Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates continues to support his actions, as you could tell by the nurse's reactions this happens a lot, then do not use their services at all!!

To make matters worse, my 3 kids were off school for conferences and I don't know anyone to watch them. I called WFD at 7:30 on Friday morning. They told me to get there as fast as I can and they'd help. I walked in with my 3 rowdy boys and they fit me right in. I was shocked to find out they have the technology to make the replacement crown in the office. They replaced my crown within 3 hours and helped entertain my kids. I'm sure they were a bit annoyed with the kids, but they never made me feel that way.

Which I really appreciate. He let me know what he was going to do before he would do it, he would tell me what I could feel or expect before as well.
