We get there 3 min early, fill out paperwork, and proceeded to wait 50 min. Nobody said Anything to us. They called a few different people back and we waited so long we saw a couple people come back out of their appointment. They were even calling people back before us that came in after us. So, I asked the lady behind the desk if it would be much longer because we had been waiting 40 min and I was on my lunch break. I work way out east and asked for the east location prior, but they scheduled me at the west location. She proceeds to tell me that all the charts are gone, and it should be any min. We waited another 10 min then left. Also, while we were waiting one of the ladies behind the desk was speaking to someone over the phone and talking so loudly and airing their business out. The whole situation was horrible and has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I didn't think that things could be better, but Dr. Moore and her staff were incredible. The thing that impressed me the most was that the hygienist explained every step of the process to me. I like to know what's going on. I only met Dr. Moore briefly that day, but (lucky me) would get to meet her again for a cavity filling. When I returned for the filling, there wasn't as much explaining as the first time, which I would've appreciated...numerous, unknown sharp objects going into my mouth makes me a little uncomfortable...but the upside was that the entire procedure lasted only 10-15min. It was like a well choreographed dance between Dr. M and her assistant, with not a movement wasted. This almost distracted me from what was going on in my mouth. I appreciate Dr. Moore's skilled and gentle hands (absolutely no pain) and her staff's knowledgeable and friendly service (even the hygienist who I've yet to work with chatted with me). So I will definitely be returning every 6 mos. Hours are limited, but that seems to be the case with most dentists in the area. Call for hours.

I really liked Dr Davidson but their his office staff and the whole experience ruined it for me. I made a first time appt with their office because I have sjogren's disease and one of the things it affects of many, is the mouth and your teeth. In eight months by the time I saw Dr Davidson at this business I had lost over a half of my teeth from my disease (it causes your mouth to get extremely dry and your teeth develop severe cavities and then break and fall out) and I had made the appt to talk to dr about having both my top and bottom remaining teeth extracted and as I had planned to have dentures made elsewhere and was going to bring them in on surgery day. Dr Davidson seemed knowledgeable about my condition and also the fact that I also suffer from another autoimmune disease called Addison's and if you have dental work it can cause a person with it to suddenly have an addison's crisis and he and I talked through how we would pre-plan for my conditions like that one to prevent any unnecessary risks. So he told me after I met with him to have a seat in the lobby and the girl working at the front desk (who was not friendly when I came in) would get my estimates for me in just a few minutes. So I sat down, thinking in 10-15 minutes I would have my estimates and I could go home. So I waited, and I waited and I waited some more and 45 minutes went by and I kept noticing that the girl working at the front desk was doing everything BUT working. She was stopping to talk to everyone--she was getting up to go here and there and then she would look at her phone and finally after an hour I had had enough waiting and it was around 4:45 and I went up to the front desk and told her who I was and told her that I would like to have my estimates please as I have been waiting for over an hour for them. She looked at me TOTALLY CLUELESS as to what I was saying, as if she had no idea what I was talking about and I again repeated my name, very nicely and calmly, but deep down I was starting to get frustrated with her and the situation. She finally looked at me and said, oh, you are supposed to get your estimates right? I said yeah, over an hour ago I was supposed to get my estimates and I have seen you up and doing everything but working on them. She then proceeds to tell me that it was 4:45 and that she would have to just email them to me because she was just too busy and it was Friday and didn't have time to do them right then. WHAT THE WHAT???? I said, "Excuse me? So you are going to make a patient wait over an hour, ON YOU, BY THE WAY, to get simple paperwork that should not take more than a little bit to complete, and then they have to go home empty-handed because you're too lazy to do your job??" I was past the point of mad by now. I have worked in administrative roles for over 30 years and NEVER would I treat a customer the way that I was treated by her. She finally said that she would email me the estimates by the end of that day but that I owed a balance on my account of over $100! I told her this was the first time I had ever been there and I did not get my teeth cleaned or anything and my insurance covered that appt that day in full so I didn't have a balance and she sat there and tried to argue with me about that. I finally told her I was done and left, refusing to pay the bill that I didn't owe and she somehow failed to mention to me that I had until I got upset at her there at the en---then all of a sudden I had this big bill. So, I waited the rest of that day for the estimates to be emailed to me and surprise, surprise, they never did. So I waited the following Monday just in case she needed an extra day to get them to me--I was trying my best to be accommodating but it was getting harder. Finally, Tuesday rolls around and I call their office back and I told another lady who worked there what had happened, in detail, and that I was not happy and that I just simply wanted my estimates so that I would know how much everything would cost. She apologized to me for that happening and promised to email them to me by the end of that day. And I waited and waited and as with the other girl, they never came. I waited another 2-3 days for them to come and nothing. I literally went through 3 ladies in that office, each one promising me that they would email me what I would think, should be a simple, every day document for them--one that they do each and every day for customers but perhaps I over-estimated the competence of these women that work for Dr Davidson and the other drs in this office. I finally called and talked to the office manager and told him the situation and he was really nice and helpful and HE was able to finally email me the estimates I had been waiting on for forever and that the other ladies work in an office but didn't know how to email.

I had a peg tooth and was missing a tooth on the upper portion of my mouth. I asked my regular…read moredentist on what needed to be done in order to fix my teeth, have a great smile, and an increased level of confidence. My dentist referred me to an oral surgeon who examined and consulted me on the condition of my teeth. It was determined that in order to begin repairing the peg tooth and fill the empty space in the upper portion of my mouth I had to wear braces first. This is where Dr. Trimmell came in. My oral surgeon referred me to Dr. Trimmell. I set foot in Trimmell Orthodontics in December 2006 for my first consultation. I left with an estimate on how much braces were going to be. My teeth were so rugged and jacked up that I did not qualify for Invisalign and had to go to the traditional metal braces. The price of the braces are not always affordable to some. This was a good 4 figure number and this was only the beginning. Luckily, Trimmell Ortho set me up on a payment plan that allowed me to pay a monthly amount with NO INTEREST. I made monthly payments for 20-24 months as that was the amount of time I had to wear braces. My insurance only covered up to $1,750 of the procedure so the remaining was left to me. I did some budgeting, thought about long term effects, and then bit the bullet and went through with Dr. Trimmell bracing my teeth. I went through with this procedure, made the monthly payments, and visits all while working a full time job and paying for my own college tuition as well as other expenses. Having my family to support me through it all really helped. I would be in and out of his office (this was back when his East side location was near Douglas and Rock Rd.) for the next 2 years. Eventually he moved his East side location to 2143 N. Collective Lane near the K96 and 21st area. I would end my treatment at this new location. Over the course of those 2 years I started to see results, but at a slow rate. I had to practice patience. I didn't have that great of a confidence level to begin with. Having braces didn't help with that either. After 2 years, the braces finally came off and I was ready for the retention phase. Everything was straight, but the empty space and peg tooth still existed. The bottom portion of my mouth looked great. Now it was time to duplicate that on the top. I scheduled a procedure with my regular dentist to have the peg tooth replaced with a crown. That procedure went well and Dr. Trimmell got me fitted with a set of retainers that fit the new crown. He also put a temporary tooth in the retainer to cover the empty space that remained. In order to fill this empty space I went back to my oral surgeon and he did another examination on the scope of work that would need to be done. It was determined that a dental implant was the best way to proceed. I left the oral surgeon's office with an estimate on how much that'd cost. It was another four figure number and guess what? My insurance wouldn't cover it because it was classified as a cosmetic dental surgery. I wore the retainer that Dr. Trimmell fitted me with for about one year as I worked and saved money to put toward my dental implant procedure. The day came where I finally had enough me to get the dental implant. I went through with the procedure and had to wait 3 months for the implant to heal and adapt itself to my gum line. After it was healed, I scheduled a procedure with my regular dentist to get a crown attached to the implant. Things finally came together and there was no more peg tooth or empty space. I then had to go back to Dr. Trimmell to get fitted for a new set of retainers since I now had ALL my teeth in the upper portion of mouth. It took about 3-4 years, and a large amount of funds to be able to smile again, but if you look for me in the patient testimonials section on www.trimmellortho.com you'll see that it was definitely worth it! A picture says a thousand words!!!
