My journey at Kendall Greens High School has been one of the most important experiences of my life. What first brought me to Kendall Greens was the flexibility they offered and my determination to make sure I graduated. I needed a school that would allow me to balance both work and school, and Kendall Greens gave me exactly that opportunity. Because of the supportive environment and flexible schedule, I was able to stay focused on my education while still handling my responsibilities outside of school. One of the things that made Kendall Greens so special was the people there. The teachers and staff were always kind, helpful, and understanding. Over time, they became more than just teachers and staff members they became people I could trust, talk to, and rely on whenever I needed support. The students were also welcoming and friendly, which made it easy to make friends and feel comfortable. I loved the school so much that I encouraged many of my friends to attend because I knew they would benefit from the same support and opportunities that helped me. During the 2026 school year, I brought over a dozen students to the school, and many of them started bringing even more people after seeing how positive the environment was. One teacher who truly made a difference in my life was Ms. King. She is one of the best teachers I have ever had, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been her student. She was always supportive of my goals and understood that my biggest challenge and priority was graduating. Whenever I felt discouraged, she reminded me that I could succeed and pushed me to keep going. I trusted her because she genuinely cared about helping me do my best. She helped me through difficult moments, especially when I was struggling and needed guidance. I will always be grateful for everything she has done for me. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a teacher, and sometimes I wish I could take her with me throughout my college years. I would also like to thank my parents and my brother for always believing in me, even during the times when I doubted myself. Their encouragement and support gave me the strength to continue pushing forward. I truly could not thank them enough for standing by my side and reminding me of my potential. As I move forward into the next chapter of my life, I hope to accomplish even bigger things. My plan is to move to Gainesville with my best friend Emilee and attend Santa Fe College. I am currently deciding whether I want to earn my AA degree and then join the United States Navy as a field medic, or major in nursing or criminal justice. What brought me to Kendall Greens High school was the desire to graduate from high school sooner to pursue the career path I would like to pursue. At my old school I had to attend 7:20am-2:20pm and at my senior year I was eager to graduate so I started looking for a quicker way without having to waste my whole day in some useless theatre class, but it's just couldn't happen. Till my counselor there recommended to attend Kendall greens high. And I think it was the best choice I ever made. At Kendall greens the teachers and staff are extremely nice and very helpful. Here they understand that some students just want to be free of the traditional high school schedule and graduate sooner. If it's either to pursue a college career, go into the workforce, or even join the military. They'll make sure you graduate properly and as soon as posible. My plans after high school are to study to be a crane operator and pass the NCCO Certification exams and become a successful operator like my father. I couldn't do that till I was 18 and had a high school diploma, and I turn 18 in February 1st meaning I would have to wait around 4 MONTHS for my high school diploma, and trust me I wasn't about wait that long for some high school diploma. With no more to say I want to give a huge thanks to my teacher Ms.Alvarez at classroom 1 for helping me graduate and pushing me to finish quicker, I also want to say thank you to all the staff and security for keeping us safe and being nice, and I also want to thank the administrators for guiding me through my last year of high school. Before coming to Kendall Green High School, I was struggling badly in school. My grades were low, I felt constantly behind, and honestly, I didn't think I was capable of doing much better. I was a failing student and already a year behind, which made it even harder to stay motivated. Everything started to change once I enrolled at Kendall Green. The teachers and staff didn't just see me as another student, they actually took the time to understand where I was at and what I needed to improve. They pushed me, supported me, and held me accountable in a way that made a real difference. Over time, I went from failing to making the honor roll. That shift didn't happen overnight, but the structure and encouragement at the school made it possible. Not only did I catch up from being a year behind, but I ended up a year ahead, something I never thought I could achieve. Kendall Green also opened doors I didn't even know were available to me. I was able to participate in dual enrollment, which allowed me to earn college credits while still in high school. On top of that, I completed Coursera courses and earned certifications, including ServSafe and AI technology certificates. These opportunities gave me real-world skills and a head start on my future. I heard about kendall greens senior high school from a counselor at palmetto senior high school. They told me that I could graduate early as a junior if I took the ALS classes seriously at Kendall Greens. My experience at the school was honestly amazing-I kind of want to go back... it was so fun. Coming to this school made me push myself academically. There was something in the air that made me look forward to coming to school everyday. This school also made me a stronger personally and mentally. Socially, I talked to very few people. But, I met a lifelong friend. A barber that now does my brother and boyfriend's hair. When I talked to people at the school, we always talked about our personal goals. What stands out the most to me is my personal and academic growth. I accomplished things that I would have never imagined. I am so beyond grateful for this school. I am also greatful that I came at the right time. I started and finished in about seven months. I would like to thank my mom and my boyfriend for pushing me to make the school change even though at first they both doubted the plan. But, it worked! With graduation coming soon, life is starting to become more real. I never thought I would be graduating early nor did I think it was going to be at Kendall Greens. Palmetto Senior High was my old school, but it was already too late in the school year to go back, so I had to make a change. Coming to Kendall Greens ended up being the best switch I could have made so I could stay on track and graduate faster. At first I didn't really know what to expect, but it actually turned out better than I thought. Being at Kendall Greens was a good experience overall. The main thing that stood out to me was how the staff actually care about the students. It's not just about school work, they really check up on you and make sure your doing what you need to do. I want to thank Mrs. Oramas for always helping me get my work done and staying on me when I needed it. Also Mrs. Fernandez for being a great principal and always paying attention to what I needed to graduate. That helped me a lot more than I expected. I really enjoyed my experience at Kendall Greens. I didn't like the idea of waking up at 6:30 every morning and wanted something more flexible where I could work at my own pace. I considered online school, but I knew I needed more structure and support, so I started looking into other options and found Kendall Greens. After touring the school and hearing more about the program, I knew it was the right fit for me. What stood out the most was the flexibility. Students can come in during the morning, afternoon, or both, which makes it much easier to balance school and personal responsibilities.
