Stopped in early on a Sunday evening. For an American I did not expect the restaurant to be packed…read moreon a Sunday evening, let alone shortly after opening for the evening. I was able to get a seat at the bar where the full dinner menu is served. The staff and service was excellent. Friendly, attentive, and English-speaking. I was very impressed at their efficiency while remaining attentive to all guests. I ordered the salmon tartar and schweinefilet. The salmon tartare was served as a salad and was spot on. The pork medallions (3) were served with a nut crust, a medley of mushrooms, over a bed of rocket salad. The medallions were cooked to perfection and were very tender. The white wine complimented everything. The ambience is classic German with a festive and friendly crowd. I definitely plan to return - with reservations.

But she was so nice , she came back to your dear narrator with a shit ton of bread, some deli meats, a salad, and of course my wobbly pop.
