Donna made us a GF, dairy free [for my lactose intolerance], egg free cinnamon pistachio cake that was one of the best cake/breads I've ever had in my life! With a terrible sweet tooth, I seek out treats in every city I ever visit too-so this is saying a lot! It was the fam-favorite by the WHOLE family, even those who have no allergies. We had homemade brownies, cookies, carrot cake and apple pie as options at our holiday feast, and we still ate Donna's cake in less than a day! It was unbelievably delicious, and I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone! The frosting was also incredible! We also had a regular chocolate Belgian Jim Beam cake that was delicious, but we were all enamored by the cinnamon!

Dubai chocolate destination! This bakery offers seasonal/while available Dubai chocolate varieties…read morewith in-house made ingredients - pistachio cream, chocolate ganache (no clumps), and kataifi. All cups are made to order resulting in better taste. Options on the menu were banana Dubai chocolate cups, strawberry Dubai chocolate cups (single layer or double layer) ($7-15), truffles ($4 each), chocolate bars ($10-20), and jars (pistachio crunch and peanut butter) ($8-10). I ordered Dubai chocolate cup with double layers ($15). The serving was generous but I really felt that $15 is not a reasonable price. I tried Dubai chocolate cups at Middle Eastern events and festivals, so I was comparing my cup to those cups. The ratio of ingredients felt unbalanced. There was almost too much of everything and it overpowered the flavor. The whole thing also tasted very salty which was unexpected. I appreciated the real pistachios in the cup. I wouldn't get it again (due to being too salty and pricey), but it was nice to try once. Aside from Dubai chocolate, they also have seasonal kolaczki - raspberry, blueberry, nut, apricot, cream cheese, apple, strawberry, and cherry ($24.95 per 2 dozen). There's also cupcakery inside with various flavors like strawberry lemon, peanut butter lovers, triple chocolate, and zebra cake. Cupcakes are $4 individual and can be purchased in larger qualities. Any cakes, cupcakes, or other treats can be ordered for pickup at the bakery. Ordered 24/7 online and picked up 7 days a week. The service was pretty good. Employees really wanted to know if customers enjoyed the experience and cupcakes. The interior of the store is no frills - white walls and comfy red booths. The shop is pretty small. Overall, this bakery is a gem for North Ridgeville community where there are not many other bakery/cupcakery around.

The size is great to either eat 1/2 a cake or to share. I shared. The icing was not too sweet and filled the holes of the cakes. They do have larger sizes which are displayed in the case. Liked how they have samples of a cake so that you can taste it to see if you want to buy the featured cake. I plan to go back again.

I do warn you to not make the mistake we made: We ordered $400-$500 in Nothing Bundt Cakes for a wedding reception. We thought we were ordering online through this store but, it was an online catering service. (EZCater) The delivery man arrived at the reception hall with our large delivery with marijuana smoke billowing out of his car. The Bundt cakes reeked of skunk (weed) smell. Horrible smell for a fancy expensive wedding reception. The Attendees thought the local Bundt store did this. It gave this store a black eye. We learned our lesson. Order directly from the store!

Paris Baguette, a French/Korean bakery chain, is very much like Tour les Jours to me, and I wanted…read moreto test to see which one of these self-serve bakery chains are better. My boyfriend and I liked Tous les Jours when we went to the Lyndhurst location when it opened about a year-ish ago. It wasn't perfect though and we had some minor quibbles. So while in the Avon area in July 2026, we stopped in for a snack. Inside, it is quite cute! Pretty packaging and lovely baked goods everywhere. Unfortunately, the women's restroom was a bit of a mess. The floor was a little dirty nd the toilet paper holder was busted up. But it wasn't terrible. This was just a snack break for the two of us, so we didn't order a ton. I got the coffee bun ($3.50) and a small korean iced milk coffee ($4.39). My bf got the smores croissant ($5.50) and a red bean bun ($3.10). His croissant was stuffed with marshmallow cream. He had fun eating it. My coffee bun was basically a brioche bun with a dusting of coffee. Call me basic, but I actually really loved it! Although, I gotta know how in the world was my korean iced coffee only 60 calories with all the half and half, whole milk, and syrup? It ended up being too sweet anyway but I did finish it because it cost me almost 5 bucks! I really liked my coffee bun and my bf enjoyed his red bean bun. He ended up wishing he had ordered the smores Belgian waffle instead of the croissant since the smores part of the croissant was only some icing on top of a regular croissant. Overall, I paid about $18 for 4 items, 2 of which we would order again. I liked the drinks at Tous les Jour better as well as the aesthetic, but my coffee bun was a real winner in the pastry department so we will call it a tie. We are glad we finally tried out Paris Baguette!

BUTTERY AND FLAKY PASTRIES!! Established in South Korea so this bakery consists of a mix of…read moreEuropean and Asian baked goods. I finally visited Paris Baguette in February 2026 and I arrived around 6:30am. They opened this Avon, Ohio location in June 2025. I visited a second time in March 2026. Paris Baguette is owned by a South Korean food group, much to my surprise. They only have about 2 locations in Paris, France. Most of their locations are in Asia (majority in South Korea). Other locations are in North America and Europe. ORDER -- Walk in and to your left are tongs and a tray. Pick out your items, place them on the try, then head to the counter to pay for them. Sit inside and enjoy the delicate bites or take your order to go. PASTRIES/BREAD -- Arrive early to get pastries because they normally sell out. They sell milk buns (bread) which is popular in Asia. There are a variety of pastries to choose from. During my 2 visits, I got the ham & cheese pastry ($5), Fruit Bite -- Raspberry ($3.00), a sweet potato pastry ($4) which I got for free because of their free pastry offer, and a pepperoni pastry ($5.69). All of the pastries that I ate were delicious. My favourites were the sweet potato pasty and the ham & cheese pastry. The sweet potato pastry is described as a "buttery twisted pastry with sweet potato and custard cream, sprinkled with black sesame seeds." -- this is a unique and tasty pastry. I noticed cakes for sale by the slice and whole cakes up at the counter. PRICES - Fair and standard. Yes, it will be expensive but that isn't surprising as most bakeries aren't cheap. The reviews complaining about prices should just be aware that this isn't a full asian bakery where the prices tend to be a bit lower. This is a mix of European and Asian. In addition, bakeries will not be cheap. SEATING -- This is a smaller cafe but there are about 7 tables and chairs to sit on plus a counter at the back to sit on. Overall, their baked goods are delicious and fresh plus the bakery is clean. Customer service has always been attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back. The only downside is if you arrive late, you may not have any options left to choose from plus the baked goods may not be as fresh as evident from my 2nd visit in March 2026 when I arrived after 6:30pm and they only had a few pastry options left. TIP 1 -- If you order the ham & cheese pastry, just simple ask them to heat it up for a few seconds before you eat it which is what I did. Otherwise, it won't taste as good because it will be cold as their baked goods are placed in display cases all day. Who wants to eat cold ham and cheese? Not me (haha). TIP 2 -- Download their app to get a free pastry with a purchase. The less valued item will be free. The sweet potato pastry ($4) that I got was free when I visited in March 2026. If you don't want to download their app, I was handed a sheet of paper with discounts after I ordered so be sure to ask for it when you are paying for your items. I didn't even know about their app yet until after I received the piece of paper with discounts. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 61/250 total reviews in 2026 - 902 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 30 April 2026
