After over an additional 11 weeks, finally one of the women that work there took my call, she said that nobody had actually worked on the vehicle, they simply took the front end apart to have a technician look at it but, that would not happen for another week, maybe longer, the owner was on vacation and work could not begin without him because he is the one that decides what needs to be done. Needless to say, I had the vehicle towed to a more reputable repair shop. Ever since Bill retired and left his business to his inept son, the shop is a joke. Even the woman that I spoke with stated that she doesn't understand how the York Auto Body stays in business. Run as far away from this horrible business. Customer service is something that they do not know or understand.

"Unbelievably bad service", should be the description of what this shop does. I took my car in to…read morehave two audio amps installed, the guy working there charged more than another shop would have to do the same work but he could get me in sooner than other shops. I left him specific written instructions and details of my equipment that was to be installed, along with my verbal instructions of what I needed done. The installer wired the two amps up and left them unsecured to the car, so they were just sliding around in the car. He also left the wire that turns one of the amps on disconnected. He left a whole lot of copper wire stands all around the amps, as if he were trying to cause a short on purpose in my equipment. He broke a clip that secures the facing around my radio head unit in the dashboard. He left my microphone disconnected from the radio, resulting in people not being able to hear me while using my phone when connected to my radio. He also cut my seat belt harness cable on my driver's seat all the way through very neatly, leaving the heat Shrink plastic around it somewhat in tact to slightly hold it in place. That by itself is going to be at least $150-$250 to have replaced. My advice is to keep your car away from this shop if you value your car. There's a good chance that whatever work you want done will not be done properly, that you'll be overcharged for the work, other equipment in your car will be broken, and you'll be here writing about what horrendous things happened to your car. On a good note, the installer sounded professional and was polite, before he turned into Mayham. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP.. Oh, almost forgot, there's a dent now in the door area that's visible when the car door is opened, I believe the installer may have mental problems. There are better shops to have your work you need done properly done.

However there is something that is off putting (at least for me) when a person keeps talking about price as if that is the deciding factor when making a purchase. I personally dont like to shop on price because if there is ever a concern when the job is complete, the person will say, well you got this discounted price or I knocked off so much in price for you so.... I normally would not care to write a review, I dont even have a yelp account, I had to use a friends account to write this.... however I just felt that people should be aware of the type person that you would be interacting with and to be careful. Simply because if a person can go from 0-100 this quickly over a person telling them they dont want to talk about price, imagine if you had a concern about the work that was done, how he might respond...and since it is mobile detailing ...this person would know where you live/work.
