During the piano move, the two movers seemed to struggle a bit moving the instrument (just an upright spinet) 30 minutes down the road but didn't end up damaging anything--home or piano. You do need to be upfront about your move logistics so that Fretter's can staff and charge appropriately: length of sidewalk, number of stairs, etc. Rick is no-frills. Like other reviewers have noted, his communication style is direct. He has a bag of tools ready for anything in his early 2000s minivan. His tuning fork and his ear don't lie. He has years of experience leading to successful repairs and tunings no matter your piano brand. Rick's provided realistic advice to me on frequency of tuning and if maintenance is worth the cost, based on my specific instrument that I acquired from Facebook marketplace. I've not been to the physical location in East Nashville in Inglewood.

He arrived on time, briefly chatted with me about my piano, and then got right into tuning. It took him about one hour, and now it sounds like heaven. He offers some servicing packages in addition to tuning that I think gives clients great bang for the buck, and I plan on booking a "full service" appointment next tuning. He showed me a couple areas inside my piano he noticed could be adjusted & tweaked for the future, and even adjusted one or two keys to show me the difference it could make (noticeable/audible). What more do you need to know to book this guy?! Great work, fairly priced, and good vibe. Thanks Jon!

Couldn't recommend a company less. Extremely unprofessional business with no contracts, which…read moreshould have been our first red flag. They did arrive 30 mins late but they did move things quickly and we were overall happy until we realized the movers had broken our tv. When we asked for reimbursement for the damage, they then wanted to claim it's an "insurance liability" for them to even move tv's that aren't in boxes - to which I stated WE DIDN'T EVEN SIGN A CONTRACT FOR OUR MOVE!! We also communicated with the movers the whole time and told them to let us know if there was anything we needed to move! Upon me calling them out on the lack of contract several times, Orlando; the owner's son said they would pay us. We confirmed details via texts which I attached. Orlando stated a $200 payment would be sent on 7/13 (for whatever reason they couldn't pay us the same day) and surprise - they have since ghosted on communication with us! We moved on June 29th by the way, So this makes 2 weeks and no resolution. To even have to hassle THIS much and be asked to WAIT to get reimbursement for damage that you all have done is insane and unprofessional.
