No other restaurant inside L'Auberge offers this complete combination of speed, quality, value, and convenience. Here is what made our visits so memorable: The Egg Rolls (10/10): Whatever you do, do not skip the egg rolls! They are ridiculously good and served with a great sauce. We loved them so much that after leaving the blackjack table the next night, we came back just to get another order to go! Hunan Chicken & White Rice: Since they didn't have Kung Pao, they accommodated us by bringing out crushed peanuts on the side. The Hunan chicken was very good with a nice, satisfying kick to it--and their sticky white rice was fantastic and cooked perfectly. Lettuce Wraps: My friend tried the lettuce wraps (sorry, no photo!) and gave them rave reviews--they also had a nice little spicy kick. Speed & Service: The staff was exceptionally friendly and incredibly efficient. We had a concert to get to, and they had us served, fed, and out the door in plenty of time without ever making us feel rushed. Value & Convenience: For a sit-down restaurant inside a casino, the prices are very reasonable. Whether you want a quick sit-down meal in a great atmosphere or need to grab delicious take-out to take back to your room or the casino floor, this is the spot. For me, it's all about fast service, great food, and getting right back to my casino activities. Asia nails it every time--we will definitely be back! A note for L'Auberge management: I really hope leadership is paying attention. The Golden Nugget is completely outclassing L'Auberge when it comes to dining options. L'Auberge desperately needs to step up its game, and bringing in more fantastic spots like Asia would be a great start. While you're at it, replacing Johnny Sánchez with an authentic, quality Mexican restaurant should be top priority. The creaminess of the sauce helps balance the spice. If you're up for it add a glass of ice water and order their best Saki to truly enjoy the experience. The General Saos shrimp is equally amazing. It's a delicate balance of sweet and savory with a hint of heat. Admittedly, I wouldn't be mad if it had a little more heat but my perspective is usually after spending hours in the casino and I'm looking to burn the demons of sin from my soul with spices. The spousal unit typically orders Hunan Chicken which I've sampled and it is definitely as savory and fresh. I lean toward dishes with a little spice and heat but it is very flavorful.
