It has taken my daughter three years to get her hours in to get her permit. First, he lost the check I gave him. When we got that straightened out, she started driving with a particular teacher and things were going well. Then that teacher was no longer available and everything ground to a halt. Every time she tries to reach Mr. Kelly, he doesn't answer his phone, or his voice mailbox is full. When she does reach him and tells him times she won't be available, he suggests they drive on that day! The latest thing was the "parent drive" for which I took time off of work. He never showed. Later he said he was waiting for us at the high school. This appears to be a pattern; we aren't the only people who've had to chase after him to complete the process.. Is it because he doesn't care? (I wouldn't think so -- he's a teacher, after all) Is it because he's so disorganized? I don't know, but this has been a terribly frustrating experience for us. I would not recommend. My next child will go somewhere else. read more
