Instructors are great, but their hands are tied. Most equipment is reserved for cinematography students. Trust me. This place ain't what it used to be. Not even close. Can blame some things on the pandemic, but not everything. Also, campus food is VERY expensive (tastes terrible) and not available after hours 6pm. They have Lobster dinners once a week that you have to pay top dollar for. If you want to learn how to make films, I suggest not trekking all the way here to do it. Save the cash.

How did I not post this? It's just sitting in my draft folder. Ugh…read more We visited Mr Drew and His Animals Too in their last day in Lewiston. Not only did the grandchildren absolutely love it but so did I. The animals are great! The staff, phenomenal and while I'm sure it's difficult to stay excited day after day, they made us feel like we were special guests. We arrived around 11 and the kids asked if we could stay until closing. Even today, the oldest (he's 12) said, "I wish I lived in Maine and could have my birthday party there!" We will absolutely be making the drive to Poland once the new location is fully set up. Best of luck - although I don't think that's going to be necessary. The community involvement, education and giving back will be enough "luck" to make you as successful in the new location as you have been in the old. The other two offices were dark rooms where I felt closed in and one was so noisy that I had to leave and take the 2nd class elsewhere. These remote learning classes are in offices that generally are many businesses who have one front desk person. There could be a lawyer and chiropractor in the offices next to you. You will learn by calling in to a phone bridge as well as following along on an instructor screen. You also have a booklet and your own screen so you get all 3 learning types covered. The bonus of this spot... Being in the heart of Portland. There are many options of places to eat and get coffee that accommodate food allergies. Plus, on your lunch break you can walk down to the water and back! There is a place to get a foot soak and massage, an amazing local bookstore and so much more right here!! There is a cash only parking garage attached to the Time and Temp building that is ooooold and totally sketchy looking but it's safe. The whole city is safe really when I think about it.

I have a visit with my Psych NP once a month for med management. I see my peer support once a week either in my home or the community and I have had my case manager for nearly six years. I have also received therapy services through Sweetser and the provider I had for therapy was also wonderful. If it were not for my Sweetser case manager I would not be here to write this today. She has literally been there when I needed someone the most. The office staff at Sanford are also kind and compassionate.

I was a resident at Unit 8 for approximately one year, and during that time I witnessed numerous…read moreserious concerns regarding the facility's environment and staff conduct. While there were some staff members who genuinely cared about the clients and did their jobs well, many others demonstrated unprofessional behavior. There was frequent verbal mistreatment of clients, and some staff members allegedly provided vapes and condoms to residents. In addition, certain male staff members acted inappropriately toward female residents, creating an uncomfortable and concerning environment. The facility itself was often unsanitary and poorly maintained. There were ongoing issues with cleanliness, including spiders, ants, poor hygiene standards, and general disorganization. Theft among residents was common, and there appeared to be little effort made to address these issues. Residents were often left with very little to do, and staff frequently failed to provide meaningful activities or support. There were also concerns regarding the availability of food and the overall well-being of residents. Overall, the environment at Unit 8 felt unsafe, unhealthy, and poorly managed. I believe these concerns should be taken seriously and investigated to ensure the safety and well-being of current and future residents.

It includes lunch for order from the East Boothbay General Store. The staff is friendly and nice. It's great to have this camp in East Boothbay.
