Just wonderful local Maine goods for sale in a nice atmosphere for a great cause.

Ordered a couple hundred dollars of Bella Luna musical intruments for gifts. The quality overall…read morewas good, but the xylophone was a big disappointment. It is made of wood--which is ok, but 2 of the 5 "keys" sound like you are just tapping on wood. Three keys sounded ok, but there is nothing melodic about the 2 smaller keys. I wrote to see if the instrument could be adjusted somehow and was told no. I was given the option to return the item, but it's going to cost at least $10 postage. I would not be sending it back, if it had not been a dud. Not happy with their customer service and I won't be doing business with them in the future.

The used book selection is not as extensive as I remember but it's curated REALLY well. You will find many books that you have wanted, including very recent used ones. There's also a small selection of new books that also are well curated and always seem to already be on my to-read pile. The staff who work here are lovely and always helpful. It's also decorated in such a curious and detailed way. I notice something new every time I'm there. Follow them on Instagram hellohellobooks for fun. You can get to them on main st by going through rock city cafe. It's okay to bring your treats inside.

Two weeks turned into eight weeks before we finally got the vests. The sizes were wrong, one style we had ordered was missing and the final bill came in well over the first quoted price. No apology was made for the messed up order and only a cursory apology for the lateness of the order. This is not a way to run a business.
