On March 23, 2024, during a routine drive to Orange County from Las Vegas on Hwy 15, my heavily loaded Ram truck experienced a catastrophic brake failure while traveling down the Cajon Pass. The ABS warning light came on. Then just moments later a loud bang from the front end followed by the unmistakable sound of metal-on-metal clunking in a rhythm matching the revolutions of the 35" tires. We were in trouble! We had just passed the summit and were gaining speed going downhill in the usual congested traffic. With our flashers on and my thump firmly depressing the horn button, I somehow managed to wrangle my way from the fast lane to the far-right lane and I will never forget the look on my wife's face after she looked out the window at the massive drop-off right next to us. It was a long way to the bottom. She realized this may be how we end. I was passing cars on the right side of the slow lane as I slowly applied the parking brake, barely managing to avoid collision after collision. We were missing cars by scant inches, not feet. How we didn't crash is something I can only place in the Lord's hands...and when we reached Cleghorn Road (Exit 129) were finally able to get off the freeway, away from traffic and aggressively apply the parking brake to bring the truck to a stop. I began shaking uncontrollably. My wife lost her lunch right there by the side of the road. Because this occurred on a late Saturday afternoon, no auto shop or dealership was able to help us. As we learned our final hope for a mobile mechanic was also impossible...a tow off the Cajon Pass was our only remaining option. A CHP officer stopped and placed a yellow tag by the rear license plate. That's when the wind whipped up abruptly, and then it began to rain. Lightly at first, then serious rain. The kind that washes your vehicle and leaves it spotless. Enter Kelley's Towing Inc., who sent Danny C to our rescue. Almost immediately upon arrival and learning of our brake system failure, this tow truck driver called the owner, Chris Kelley. This wonderful man instructed his driver to drop the truck at the dealership in Irvine (some 63 miles away) and then take us home to San Clemente. He recognized how this dramatic experience stressed us out (we are senior citizens) and Chris went above & beyond for us without hesitation. Our gratitude to this man cannot be described in mere words. The truck was loaded onto the large flatbed tow truck and the three of us begin rolling south towards OC. Well, apparently Mr. Kelley is not only a kind and generous man...he must also be a sagacious businessman who hires very well. The technician he sent to us was perfect in every way. After loading and tying down my large, lifted Ram pickup to the bed of the tow truck, he meticulously performed a 360-degree inspection, carefully double checking all connections to ensure everything was absolutely secure. I appreciated that. The driver then engaged us in conversation that was both distracting and very respectful (lots of "Yes Sirs" and "Yes Maams") and as we reach the bottom of the canyon, my wife & I began to feel like ourselves again. Thanks to Danny C's kindness and humor, all tension created by this sudden and traumatic brush with death faded away and by the time we were delivered home (just before dusk) we were all smiles. There's just something about Danny's manner...you gotta like the guy. Kelley's Towing is a shining example of how a service business should be run. Any other tow company would have told us to call Uber and left us at a closed auto dealership with all our luggage standing in the rain. Thank God we broke down in Kelley's service area. They rescued us completely and went well out their way to do it. Thank you Chris and Danny. You are wonderful gentlemen who actually care about people. That often feels like a dying concern in today's society. You are the exception. Kelley's Towing sets the customer care bar so high...other tow companies need to charter a plane just to see it. read more

This company is so amazing. I was traveling with my daughter coming home from my sisters house when my car lost power when I was driving and I had no way of getting it home. I called a tow company that said they would help but after an hour and a half they said I needed to find someone else because they could not help me. I called Kelly's towing company and the dispatcher was so sweet and calming in a tough situation. She made me feel like I was going to be rescued ands I was! The tow truck found me and even when he was hooking up my car to his truck, someone else broke down right next to me and the driver took time to help him as well with whatever he could. He helped push the other guys truck out of the street so the other car and the driver were out of harms way ands he can wait for his services safely. I got home safe and the driver took great care of my car from pick up to drop off. Very professional and caring! Will use them for sure! They will help you! read more

Ryan was my roadside technician today, July 3, 2024. A pothole took out both of my tires on my passenger side on my way to work. I put in my request through Geico and chose Kelley's Towing and this was my first experience with them. Ryan called me to get my location and provided me with a rough ETA to my car with an upbeat, caring and professional attitude. He arrived before the time he estimated and greeted me with a good morning and was empathetic about my situation. Ryan told me that he had been a veteran of the towing industry for 8 years, and it shows. He treated my vehicle as if it were his own. As he was pulling my car toward the bed of the truck, my wheels would pull to the right and bit. As soon as they did, he would stop, straighten them out, and before proceeding, would let me know that he wanted to make sure everything was properly aligned with his tools so he doesn't damage the air pressure sensors in my tires. Once my vehicle was secured, he then checked around my wheels and tires and let me know that one of my wheels were bent and the other cracked to let me know exactly what the issue was and then provided me with information as to where I could get them fixed. Ryan's knowledge and willingness to help, on top of his A-1 professional character, has single handedly made this the best towing experience I have ever had. Thank you to Kelley's Towing for this experience and thank you especially to Ryan for brightening what was a bad day for myself. If I have any towing needs in the future, I will recommend that Kelley's is the company to pick me up and anybody I know. Thanks Ryan!! read more

I recently had the pleasure of getting a tow from Kelley's Towing. It is likely not often that someone says getting towed was a pleasure. However, I had to get a "vintage", not to be mistaken with classic, in cherry condition, vehicle towed from Hesperia to Valencia. I scheduled the pickup in advance and was nervous that I was either going to get blown off for whenever they felt like showing up, or a no show. Both had happened prior in the week from another tow company. The morning of the scheduled tow, I received a call from Andrew. He was on-time to the pick up. He verified all of the details about my vehicle being picked up remotely. He was thorough, professional, and polite. I was on the delivery end of the tow, almost 100 miles away. Andrew was very communicative throughout the process. He gave me a heads up before he loaded the vehicle, when he was on his way, and provided an almost to the minute eta. I got to the drop point. Not two minutes later I saw Kelley's towing approaching. When I met Andrew in person, he was again, super polite, professional and had a great attitude. He took the utmost care with my vehicle. I cannot recommend Kelley's towing enough. The professionalism of the driver and the immaculate condition of the tow truck say a lot about the company, and their team. Thank you Kelley's, your dispatch team, and Andrew for taking care of my towing need! You guys are the best. read more

We needed a tow on Saturday the 25th of October 2014, around 8 pm. The tow truck driver Ryan was very pleasant and helpful. He was there when he stated that he would be. After bringing the car to our home, he tried to jump the car, help out by looking and making suggestions of what could be the problem with this old piece of 20 + yr crap car. Of course there was nothing left to do so he was no longer needed. Most tow truck drivers are "dry" and want to hurry out of their situation.
