DO NOT RENT FROM STEINBORN & ASSOCIATES…read more First, I have to say I loved the house I rented, but I felt Steinborn & Associates treated me like dirt. I wish I would have read the reviews before I rented the house! (1) Within six months, sewage backed up in the showers. I called a plumber and there was a blockage in the sewer line. Steinborn & Associates said it was a new house (even though the owners lived at the property before I rented the house), they would not pay the bill ($183.71). There is no way two people (my adult son and I) could have blocked the sewage in less than six months. (2) The property managers NEVER answer the phone. They will only text or email. In addition, if you have any questions or complaints they refer you to the lease agreement. (3) Due to unforeseen circumstances, I moved to another state during my lease. I was specifically told they would list the property when I moved out and try to rent it to another tenant. I moved out in July and the property wasn't listed on the website until November (my lease ended in October). Based on this experience, Steinborn & Associates does not have the tenant in mind. I payed almost $2,000 for three months. This caused financial hardship. Again, I signed a lease through October, but Steinborn & Associates could have posted the property for rent in August. (4) Read the rental agreement! Apparently, I did not read the contract very well. Steinborn & Associates conducts home inspections. I have rented in several states and have never experienced this practice. The only reason I can think of is they are looking for signs of smoking or an animal (if you have reported that you do not have one).

He went above and beyond in helping us find the perfect home in a quick selling market. We were out of town so couldn't look immediately at homes that were selling within days of listing. We really wanted this home so he went as quickly as possible previewed it for us told us any issues he could see and video chat the house to us. Because of the level of trust we had in him we bought the house online with him ( never would have done that before) .
