The new part needed to be purchased which I did. A few days later the part came, I called them and they sent a guy to install the flapper.  He installed it in 10 minutes, then left without asking for payment, A few days later I got a bill from them for $158.00.  I called for an explanation and all I got was "well that's what we charge" and "if your payment is late, we'll take you to collection." Another few days and I got a letter with the threat of collection and those additional charges would be added.  Lastly, while at the house the first time, they went into a long song and dance about gold, silver, etc. plans and discounts for future referrals.  I cut him off as not interested. Luckily they had one at the shop ($1300 which I agreed to pay) but not worries thus far. He wrapped up and moved along... the next day, I was concerned about the pricing and asked a local HVAC distributor about the price on the motor and they priced it at $200.... Seriously? 600 % mark up? Looks at the invoice and realized I was charged for 4 hours... my phone log and cameras show he called when he left his previous job at 3:29pm and left my house at 6:30pm. When I called the office the next day they needed to check on a few things but would call me back. Their response: part was another end model and was therefore more expensive. 6-1/2 times more expensive? I have to admit he did tell me it was expensive. As far as the rake, they informed me that they build door-to-door meaning from when he leaves his last appointment to whenever he either clocks out or goes to his next appointment so I was charging an additional hour for most likely his travel home. Sour grapes? Maybe but do yourself a favor. Get the details of the pricing before you commit to anything.

I was so relieved to have Hunter out to have a look at my problem as he came with the solution to fix it. I felt like he took my problem seriously, and I felt particularly prioritized especially considering my experience with a plumber just days before due to my hot water heater going out. The plumber that came to the call before hunter came to save the day left an uninstalled, not-completely working unit down in my basement after taking my money. Hunter priced his services so absolutely well I just, side note, if he will take accept it, tip this man if you can! Haha. Anyways. Hunter installed the unit and realized at the end that it was not fully working. Instead of giving up or leaving me and my 2 year old with out hot water any longer, he called the water heater company, sourced the missing part, got me a warranty on the heater (I am still jaw-dropped about all of this- I could not have asked for better service, and he was kind. That goes a long way, even my dog liked him), and after sourcing and obtaining the part he still found a way to save me money by getting me a rebate on the part that was missing. He went above and beyond in a moment when he truly did not have to. I just had a plumber before him try and scam me for a lot of money to do this. Hunter did the job a million times better than anyone else actually would - and he priced it beyond fair. I cant say for sure, but I believe he even stayed past when he normally works to make sure our water tank was full. My two year old son was also incredibly grateful to bathe in his own home that evening, as opposed to us going over to our recent routine of going over to our neighbors to shower together quickly. Trust me, he too much prefers his baths at home. It is much preferred for the both of us. I truly, truly, truly can not recommend this place enough. There is literally no one else I will ever call for this stuff. Hes the type of guy youre proud to pay well. He rand a snake and put a new wax ring in my toilet. 582.00, wow thought that was very high, after he did that, he came out of the basement and said my shutoff was leaking, humm I thought never did before. I asked how much to replace it, [shark bite lever shut off, 30 bucks] he replied 325 dollars, I said forget it, ok he replied. Gathered up his equipment and said the floor was a little wet and I didn't have any rags. Ok, I will get it. I went down, there was waste on the floor, tracked through the basement, talked about being pissed off. Keep in mind I am a 80 year old man. I took pictures and called there office, they were nice about it, refunded me 100.00 bucks for the clean up. BUT, as far as I am concerned NEVER again NEVER.​
