Several years ago we were told we needed to replace our quite old septic system. Asking around we…read morewere referred to Lesavage Plumbing & Heating, we signed a contract and they did the work. Then the system started clogging. I called several times and finally Chris came out and said we needed to clean a filter monthly, even though the man who tried to snake out the pipe said the problem was toward the cabin. So this year I cleaned the filter regularly. This fall, when we had house guests, the system totally clogged, and could not be snaked. I called Lesavage Plumbing & Heating at least 8 times on both published numbers, couldn't get through, left voice mails, but they refused to return my calls. I then contacted Schmidt & Sons Plumbing, they diagnosed the problem and, as I was told earlier, where the old and new systems were connected the pipe had dropped down 4 inches. They corrected the problem caused by Lesavage's incompetence. To summarize: Lesavage incorrectly installed the septic system, refused to stand by their work, made up a "solution" that did not work and refused to return phone calls.

We had American Fireplace install our fireplace, as did my sister-in-law. Our installation was very…read morewell done, incorporating a special grate. We chose the tile and the principal designer, Erin Sharp, designed a fireplace around these. See photo with green tile. My sister in law had a fireplace window crack. She called, and Erin had a technician there the next day to fix a flaw and replace the window. The fault was with the manufacturer, not the installation. So I recommend this shop highly for design, installation, and service.

On 7/19/2023 Dan and his sidekick came out and cleaned our propane fireplace. When they left…read moreeverything seemed to be working great. However, when I turned the fireplace/pilot off and turned off the propane line the problems began. When I turned the propane line back on and attempted to light the pilot it did not work. I called the company and reported the issue. Dan responded that pressing the "flint" button 3 times rapidly should cause the pilot light to work . I did as Dan requested but the pilot did not light. The final solution Dan offered was to lift the window on the front of the unit and light the pilot using a firestick. This worked but I am very dissatisfied with the need to always lift the glass and use a firestick to light the pilot. I suspect that during the cleaning process the lighter mechanism that is the standard way the fireplace manufacturer expects to light the pilot was misaligned with the burner. Dan never offered to come out and review the issue on-site.

She has been an absolute lifesaver for managing my vacation rental property in Wisconsin while I live in another state. She is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and thorough--qualities that are hard to find and so important when you're trusting someone to care for your property from afar. Every clean was done with care and attention to detail, and she kept everything organized and running smoothly for guests. Beyond cleaning, she's also efficient, proactive, and a true problem solver. If something came up (e.g., clogged drain), she didn't just alert me--she often had a solution ready, which made managing the property so much easier. Her communication was very good and I always felt confident things were being handled well. Honestly, she felt more like a business partner than just a cleaner, and that level of professionalism and commitment really stood out. If you need someone you can depend on to care for your property as if it were their own, I wholeheartedly recommend Kayla.
