I normally go somewhere else for preventative care for my pups. My golden needed immediate attention and England Run was more than happy and willing to get my boy seen as soon as possible. Tiffany was AMAZING! She grabbed all my pet's information prior to my arrival for a seamless experience. As soon as we arrived vitals were taken and we went straight into a room. The lady who helped with triage was so kind and patient with my questions and detailed information of what was happening to my boy. When the Dr. Peterson came in, she was very thorough, she was kind, gave me all the information I needed to make the best path forward for my boy. He started progressively getting better shortly after our visit, thanks to the England Run team! A week later I called to get records resent and Rockstar Tiffany was able to get them sent over and Erin was kind enough to provide me with additional information I needed as well about my boy's visit. Thank you so so much England Run for providing excellent customer service, great bedside manner and care to my boy!

Explaiined everything thoroughly, took time to answer our questions and put everything in writing and on our receipt cause ya know - info overload into the brain If you're looking for a vet for your fur baby, I HIGHLY recommend England Run Vets! We forgot to mention that hubs is a veteran (because they offer a discount if you are) but the vet technician was so gracious to redo our invoice. Kaleb and I are very grateful and thankful we found this group Thank you for everything!

The doctor explained everything and offered us options, but we already knew that we might need to say goodbye to our precious Titus. We didn't want him to suffer or endure what he was going through anymore, so the staff was so loving and understanding, giving us the time we needed to spend with him before he passed away. We've been here before with Titus and my other dog, and every time, the staff has been nothing but professional and courteous with our animals. Yes, there can be a wait time, but I know that each animal there is being taken care of and has the utmost attention from the staff and doctors. I would definitely recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Coming into care for a family members dog who had recently passed away on Mother's Day, was not on…read moremy bingo card for this year. Not only does she have behavioral issues, she has a plethora of previous medical issues as well with a new one brewing. I came to visit family when tragedy struck and we lost our brother in law. Everyone kind of takes a role on when things occur, cleaning, meals, calls, etc. I work in a veterinary ER in Virginia Beach, so Snowball, our brother in laws first baby, became my role effortlessly. Unfortunately very quickly I knew something was wrong. Snowballs eye appeared to be bulging, irritated and uncomfortable. We took her into VVCF hoping they could help. They saw us rather quickly, listened to our concerns and took snowballs behavioral quirks into consideration with how they'd treat and evaluate her. They worked around her fears without directly muzzling (they used a cone instead), walked her to distract for injections etc. The team was great on their communication, efficient and quick with her care. Dr. Donahue was phenomenal, did not sugarcoat things, gave me clear expectations and was so sensitive to not only Snowball but also to us during this difficult time. We discovered Snowball had a mass behind her eye and would need her eye removed. They offered 3 locations for us to "shop" in addition to their services. We received great communication (calls through her visit with updates), great service, and honestly a great bill at the end. We had a refund of quite a bit from our deposit. Now here are some expectations coming into any ER. While my experience was wonderful, not everyone is going to be blessed with the same unfortunately. Wait times: they can be extensive. Extensive can be anywhere from 1 hour to 15 hours Here's the thing about waiting. If you're waiting a long time, whether you have your pet with you waiting or not, a lot of the time this is a GOOD thing. It means in comparison to another fur baby there, your fur baby is less critical. This does NOT mean you and your fur baby are less important. This means while the team behind closed doors are struggling to keep a patient alive, yours gets to sit with you in the lobby or in some comfy blankets in a kennel. Be prepared to wait, be prepared to be kind. Next up; PRICING. They run off a deposit system, so be prepared to pay about 80% of the high end estimate (they give you a paper with cost break down & review it with you before moving forward). Anything they don't use from the deposit, they refund back to you. They do allow care credit to be used for leaving deposit as well, they may just charge the high end of the estimate to help reduce your interest rates, as they can do one refund vs 2+ charges if they need to increase which will all be placed on different financial terms. Know before you go: The emergency consultation is $250. Does this sound like a lot? Sure. But you're coming to an emergency room. Think about going to a human emergency room, with or without insurance you'll need to wait a long time and still end up paying $300 for some $5 ibuprofen. It's emergency room care, they know it is expensive, they don't make the prices, so don't take it out on them. With that being said, be proactive. If you have a pet, look into insurance or care credit. Ideally before things happen. But be prepared for more expensive visits, medications, procedures etc due to the demand of it being an ER. You won't get the same bill as going to your primary doctor vs the hospital even if it's for the exact same symptoms or medical condition, so don't expect it to be different for animal medicine. Lastly, communication. We all want to be prioritized and we want to feel heard. In veterinary medicine, no news is good news. NO news is GOOD news. If your fur baby is there & you are not getting constant calls or even a call during your pets stay, this means your pet is STILL being cared for but again, is not as critical as another fur baby. The family that gets the immediate or routine calls is the one that may be preparing to have to say goodbye to their fur baby. You're not less important, you're just blessed to be less critical. So be kind, call for check ins if you need peace of mind but don't expect to have numerous or even a general call. Again, this is NOT a bad thing. With all of this being said, I want to SHOUT thank you to the staff for being so kind & empathetic to us and to our new fur baby. The heart and dedication of each team member we saw or encountered was beaming. Thank you thank you thank you!
