Dr. Mary is one of the kindest and most compassionate physicians I have encountered at LCMC. I live…read morewith two rare autoimmune conditions and have struggled to achieve consistent stability since my diagnoses. Recently, after starting a new medication, I became extremely ill while my prescribing physician was out of town, which led me to seek care at urgent care. As someone with complex and rare conditions, I often approach new providers with hesitation. Too often, my symptoms have been dismissed or misunderstood, which makes seeking care stressful and, at times, discouraging. Dr. Mary completely changed that experience. He took the time to truly listen, reviewed my medical history and prior notes thoroughly, and respected my insight into my own condition. He was knowledgeable about my diagnoses, ordered the labs I requested to rule out other possible causes, and provided additional resources for follow-up care. Most importantly, he treated me with empathy and clinical judgment, including administering a steroid injection to help manage what appears to be another flare. What stood out even more was his level of commitment - he asked me to update him the following day, despite not being on shift. That level of dedication is rare. It was also clear that my experience was not unique. Both when I arrived and when I left, I overheard other patients at the front desk expressing how much Dr. Mary had helped them. This is the standard of care every patient deserves. I am incredibly grateful and relieved to know there is a physician like Dr. Mary I can trust to listen, take my concerns seriously, and provide thoughtful, patient-centered care. I had an appointment, and I waited another 30 minutes, but I don't mind. I think people who don't work in healthcare may have a misperception that people aren't working fast enough, but what I think the public should know is that when you are sick - truly sick - you need the kind of research and care I received in order to provide the appropriate treatment. Urgent Care is not your primary care provider, so they need more time to review notes and records. Be patient. I have seen just about every specialist possible, and I received better care at this urgent care than 80% of other doctors I've seen, many of which kept me waiting far beyond 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment. This kind of care was exceptional, and I would wait again any day to talk to a doctor that listens and cares. Thank you, Dr. Mary, and the staff who eased my fears and provided incredible care yesterday. You're the best!

It's a pretty small place but super clean, fresh and with comfy big chairs to get treatment in. I had a very attentive nurse that explained everything to me and helped me pick the best option. I had a quick tele- visit with a Dr. & signed my consent and quickly got started with my IV. Took about 30-40 minutes I think. But I felt fantastic afterwards and was ready to enjoy the night again with hubby. I will definitely be stopping by here next time we visit!

Called in today in sort of an emergency this morning as my wife was severely dehydrated from the flu and we had a flight to catch in a few hours. They came to my hotel a few blocks from their clinic and had my wife as good as new and ready for our flight within an hour. It would've taken me two days to get this kind of hydration in her and we would've had to stay and catch a later flight. This is the real deal I highly recommend.

Although a brand new practice, Sprout hit the ground running with a staff of (at least) 15 personnel to include 3 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, 9 registered nurses and 2 medical support staff. I would be willing to bet that in the very near future, they may likely be the area's most prominent pediatric team. The "founding four" members, physicians Suzette (Suzy) Kingston, Gabrielle (Gabby) Glasgow, Lauren Hernandez and nurse practitioner Kendall Connick, have worked together for the past 6-8 years and are an incredible team. These "superstars" have been practicing medicine for an average of 7 years (post residency) and Kendall earned her master's degree in nursing in 2015. I refer to them as superstars as not only are they top graduates, award winners, Chief residents, etc.; they also have the kindest demeanors of any physicians I can recall. Their bedside manners are second to none and they will put any child and their parents' minds at ease. They are thorough and take their time with their patients, so no matter how busy they are, you always feel like you are their most important patient. They are all mothers and know what it's like to be the parent of a sick child. My son has seen each and every one of them numerous times over the past several years and we trust each of them equally. For additional information, check out their bios at https://sproutpediatricsnola.com/meet-the-sprout-team/. Two of the nine nurses (Julie & Kathy) have also worked with the doctors for several years; therefore, it was pleasant to see so many familiar faces. However, if you are a new patient, you will soon feel part of the Sprout family in little to no time. The nurses and medical staff seem to share the "ethos" of the doctors, which is providing excellent care along with making the patients and their parents feel at home. The newly built out facility is absolutely gorgeous, impeccably clean and decorated in a friendly style that will certainly be pleasing to the kiddos. There is plenty of off-street parking in the lot and the waiting room can seat numerous people. Their website is top notch, and there is a patient portal, a link to pay your bills online as well as requesting an appointment online. I cannot imagine a finer facility or group of medical professionals.

This clinic does NOT offer Gardasil, the HPV vaccine, for adults even though adults are eligible…read morefor the vaccine. Go to Planned Parenthood and take care of your preventative health. It is hard to make an appointment with a doctor. However, appointments with the Nurse Practitioners are always available for a reason. Do not make an appointment with the Nurse Practitioner Mr. Keith Norman who is at the 478 S Johnson location on Fridays. He is lazy so he lets his PA student to do his job. I was informed by the receptionist that the NP could order the vaccine for me. This was NOT true. I arrived and the MA informed me that the vaccine is stocked at the ST CHARLES location. The PA student was racist and unprofessional. Because the NP takes PA student, the patient has to answer the same questions three times: MA, PA that shadows Mr. Norman, then Mr. Norman. The appointment took a long time. Lesson learned: never make an appointment with the NP. He is nice but I wouldn't go see him. He has no respect for patient privacy or consent. He has students that say they are "shadowing" him. But in truth, they are doing his job, which is illegal. The "shadowing" students have no license and are unsupervised and because they do not have proper training, they spew out all kinds of ignorance, including erroneous info of vaccines. Mr. Norman also cannot seem to bill properly for preventative health. He is nice. Be warmed if you make a visit: you will have to say everything THREE times: MA that takes your vitals, the "shadowing" student who think she is a real doctor but LSU permits to swan around in a white coat, and then Mr. Norman the NP. Look up the REAL reviews of him on WebMD. Most of the front desk office staff and phone calls are answered by staff members who detest talking to patients and will never say hello or goodbye properly. They have no manners. Too bad, LSU leadership doesn't take customer service seriously. When one gives you attitude, ask to speak to the clinic manager. Report issues to clinic manager Ms. Venus Lee. Pro Tip: Go to the 3700 St Charles location or Planned Parenthood and get seen by a real doctor, not some idiotic, rude PA-student and get heard, instead of repeating yourself three times.
