He doesn't read emails. He does respond to text messages and says he will get you answers but never does. He has been a huge disappointment and does not seem to care about what I am dealing with. I've told him I need better communication from him but it doesn't help. The only thing his firm is prompt about is sending invoices. I could never in good conscience recommend him to anyone. The only reason I have not yet changed attorneys is because of the money I have invested so far. I'm at the end of my rope and if things don't improve very soon I will seek a new attorney. If it comes to that I will do a lot more research before choosing someone.it would be nice if I could find an attorney who cares about me and my situation and is willing to provide a free consultation. So instead of the system protecting me I instead had the system used against me in which financially I had no choice but to drop the charges against her. She was allowed to walk away without punishment while I still had to deal with a 50b on my record. Never have I ever assaulted or even attempted to assault anyone. But money is what it comes down to especially with my ex being a veteran. Just because she served our country I guess gets her free passes to assault and abuse people. On top of that they allowed her to file both 30 plus days after her violent actions. The purpose of obtaining legal counsel was to shield our son from the ticket's negative effects on his driver's license and auto insurance. As paid legal counsel, it was your responsibility to clearly disclose possible outcomes and consequences. Had this been appropriately communicated, we would have not accepted your proposal of 5 mph over and possibly sought alternative representation. According to your firm's website, Attorney Pavone stresses the importance of not pleading guilty as it is associated with negative consequences. By accepting the guilty plea on our behalf, you have now cost us thousands of dollars in insurance premiums and two points on his license. You are the experts here. You are in court handling these cases every day, and I am confident you are able to achieve more successful results. Otherwise, you wouldn't stay in business. At this point, there is nothing we can do. We will have to accept the judgement, which is extremely disappointing. In regards to the 2023 accident, he was hit by another driver and was deemed "not at fault." We have reviewed the DMV records, which does not list any points associated with said car accident; however, the speeding ticket is associated with 2. We also confirmed with the insurance company that the speeding ticket, and not the accident, was the reason for the price increase. As you can understand, we will not be recommending your firm.
