Age 3, our son currently attends the new location in Holly Hill, we drive a half hour one way to take him to preschool at Inspirations North. Over the span of close to a decade Inspirations has continued to be one of the best schools for little ones in the area. Its not daycare, your little ones are prepared for a regular school day at Inspirations and must be at school by 9am, with the curriculum age appropriate, yet the day run like a regular elementary school day. Structure is provided, a caring attitude all the teachers have always had, and very reasonable tuition . The playground is awesome, yet safe while the kids outside so gardening projects, have holiday sing slings, as well as work with parents concerning any issues your child may be having (or; late potty training- they are so helpful and patient). We have had nothing but good experiences at Inspirations. It's a great preschool!

My son was scheduled for an Advanced Motor Cycle Training course in Atlanta in June 2014. He needed…read moreto take the course as a court mandate for a speeding ticket he was issued. Just prior to taking the course in Atlanta, my son was hit by a car and needed surgery. So I cancelled the class in Atlanta and called James Kuespert at Volusia to see if he would offer the course to my son once he got down to FL for college. James said he normally doesn't conduct the course until enough riders sign up, but that he would make an exception for my son and provide him 1 on 1 training. At that time, I offered to pay James his full rate plus a tip equal to the full rate understanding that he was going out of his way for my son. I was very grateful. Initially James Kuespert was sympathetic to the fact that a fellow rider (my son) was hit by a vehicle, and James said, "no problem man, you don't need to worry. I'll take care of your son when he gets down here for college. Just call me after gets to FL." So today, we call James Kuespert of Volusia Motorcycle Training, and he does an about face, declaring that the only way he will work with us is if we pay him $600 and not a penny less. He was very rude and refused to even work with my circumstances. I would not have been compelled to write this review were it not for the fact that James misled me back in June. I offered to pay him then but he acted like it was no big deal. Today... he is making a very big deal out of this. So, now I am scrambling to find a course in FL as a result. Moreover, when I called James Kuespert to discuss why things had changed, he hung up the phone on me. He made it very clear that customers are not important to him or Volusia Motorcycle Training. I guess he fails to realize the power of word-of-mouth. Don't use this company. This guy is a liar.

Told this guy we could get his son done for the normal amount, but he was adamant he needed a private class. I always try to get people to save their money and take a normal class for a lot less money. If people absolutely want a private class; you pay for it. We typically charged $900 for one person on a private class back then, but I gave him a huge discount. I'm sorry, but we don't work for free like this guy may think. It takes the same amount of time to do a class for a single person versus a full class of 12 people. I guess he thinks a "tip" will take care of this. I don't think so. We've been in business teaching for over 50+ years. We are the oldest training facility in the Nation, much less the state of Florida. Another thing is I told this fellow, if we could get someone else to share the class, his fee would go down - didn't happen. He needs to learn there is no such thing as a free lunch. I'm sure he doesn't work for free either. If anyone wants a class with good, friendly teachers who will teach you a lot, then we're the ones who can do it. The key is lowering the stress level by joking and having fun with us - and we will make it happen for you. As of this morning, I'm pulling my 6th Grader from Imagine School at Town Center!…read more The folks at the school are incredibly nice, and very helpful when you walk in requiring assistance of one kind or another. You're always greeted with a smile and assured everything will be taken care of. The problem? They don't follow through! My youngest son has always been an A student. Not to suggest he's perfect. He isn't. His A's have been hard won, and it's required a balance of teaching, parenting and great communication, which we've always had with his teachers. When he would start to slack off or not hand in homework, I made sure teachers knew that I was there, ready to respond. We recently received an email from his Math Teacher saying he was missing 9 assignments. (FIRST QUESTION: Why did it take getting to 9 before anyone contacted me?) I immediately contact the teacher by email requesting a list of the missing assignments and a meeting. To date, I haven't heard back. A little back story: My son started the year at a different school and was on the waiting list at Imagine. I guess they expected him to know their rules even though he wasn't there for orientation. As it turns out, the math teacher sends home a list of the weeks assignments every Monday for parents to sign, which was the reason we were supposed to know our boy was missing homework. The problem is that we didn't know she did this, and had NEVER sign one. You'd think that would be enough of a reason to email us and let us know something was wrong. My wife and I called to talk with the school about the situation and finally got a response from Kristy, the school's Assistant Principal. She explained that Imagine has a 24 hour contact policy, and that we should have received a call or email within 24 hours. Very sorry about the entire mess, she promised to look into the issue, have a meeting with everyone in the department and get back to us with the specifics of on my son's issue(s). That was well over a week ago and I haven't heard back from her either. My son recently came home with his progress reports, which contained several C's, two F's and a D. We signed and returned the progress reports with a request for a meeting with the teachers in each class. We still haven't heard from a single one. If you're looking for a great school that will educate your kids and communicate with you, this place isn't it. "Charter School" may sound nice, but going from an A student to a D student in just a few months and being ignored through it all... Enough is enough. We have many friends that teach in the Flagler County School system and when we told them we were moving our son to Imagine, every single one of them told us to be very careful. Some even described this exact situation. I should have listened. I didn't, and now my son is paying for it. I'm moving him back to Bunnell Elementary this morning. ----------------------------------- UPDATE: After enrolling my son at his new school, I returned to Imagine to let them know and make sure my son didn't owe them anything. I ended up meeting with Kristi Kendall and having a good talk. While there were attempts made to contact us, she agrees that we should have been called and that there is definitely a problem, even if only this time. There's a lot to this issue, and my review of one start still stands, but I couldn't walk away without doing everything I could to make them fully aware of the situation. No child or parent should have experiences like this. Particularly when they're so involved. I wish them luck and hope they fix this, and quick!

First I have to say that I have been so impressed with the middle school program. The teachers are highly intelligent, thoughtful people, who genuinely love their jobs. AND my son loves school. They seem knowledgeable and sensitive to our kids needs. I've had good experiences with the administrative staff as well. To their credit, one of my classmates failed the range test so it was evident that the company takes the training very seriously.
