The plenum had to be…read morepatched up twice and after the second time, the patch did not hold up, my A/C unit would freeze, and my calls to Sam would go ignored for 2 days, being unable to even reach his voicemail, as if the phone number wasn't valid. I had another company come out to inspect the work and give me a second opinion. There was a leak in the refrigerant line that Sam had brazed to the evaporator unit and the plenum wasn't installed properly. This tech did me the favor of calling Sam and he instantly picked up on the first try. Gave Sam another chance to come out and re-braze the line and top me off on refrigerant, but instead he tried to convince me that my compress was not working and he couldn't re-braze the line until it was working again, and he suggested I buy a whole new A/C unit altogether. I had the same company come out again and confirm the compressor was working fine. So after 2 weeks of living in an 85 degree house because Sam chose to give me the run around, I was finally able to get my A/C working again. You be the judge.

Then immediately I called Sherri from Rayne office who handle all of our maintenance and repair schedules. And at the promise date, here comes John, technician from Rayne. I told him what's happening with water Softner that's it's not draining water while on the cycle of regeneration.Immediately he told me all the possibilities what's wrong with the system. In short, he check all of those possibilities and he found out that the rubber seals are bad. He replace it and run the system. And it's fixed, water Softner running on its normal cycle. And did a manual regeneration on the second day to be sure. And it works very good like brand new. Hope to get more years on our Rayne Water Softner. Got our money's worth, so many years of service. They were assgined the moving date, but 1 week before moving, nobody contacted them. when I contacted the apartment, they said the apartment is not ready and they forgot to tell us. Fine, they moved our moving date 2 weeks after. Again, no contact, no call, I had to call them again and they said it's not ready. They moved moving dates for another week or 2. All they can explain is they CANNOT forseen it. At the moving, they didn't mention how to get in the door and other service to my family and they know my family did not speak english well. My family have to come back again to ask how to get in the front door. The front desk took his phone to help him to install the app. When my cousin got home, he saw the google website on with 5 star reviews. What a coincidence. Be careful with your cell phone. I wanted to let it go. but agian, my family car got towed. They said my cousin parked the weong way. Wow I have lived at too many apartments before but nobody show you how to park and they never get towed because of that reason. They made my cousin to pay $50 to get the car back. I called to complain and she hung up on me. Great service again. Came to pick up the car and my cousin was asked to pay $215. Called the apartment again and she said that we called the wrong company and nothing she can do to help. Stay away from this place.

I called Cosmic for a service on my units in my home as my exceptional landscaper called out a…read moreproblem he saw. Anticipating some maintenance, I scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. Cosmic's dispatch and likely owner called half an hour later saying they had a cancellation and if I could fill the slot. I of course said yes Albert, the technician arrived promptly afterwards. Polite, professional and technically savvy he went straight to work. After doing some diagnostics he presented a plan for not only a repair but a rework that would add value to my home for a minimal investment. It was reasonably priced and they had the components in the van. This is especially important these days when supply chain is hugely constrained. Everyone knows your A/C breaks when it is most under demand so parts and electronics that are failing shouldn't be left to chance. Long story short Albert completed the re-work and servicing within a few hours. He did so in a clean, well organized and methodical manner. Albert appreciated that my grandson, a 4 month old, was napping in the room below the attic and was quite exceptional in keeping the noise to a minimum. This was hugely appreciated by my daughter and her husband. We all will now rest much easier knowing the system has been made reliable again with the right repairs and rework done correctly the first time. I strongly recommend Cosmic for all of your HVAC needs. If you are selling or buying a home they also offer the service of inspecting the HVAC so you aren't reliant upon a lesser experienced home inspector's visual inspection.
