Great atmosphere, lots of choices for food, and my group of seven had great seats behind home plate. I do wish they had the beer vendors that walked around. Being a bunch of hungry folks, we ordered everything dogs, nachos, pizza, etc, not disappointed at all. The game went pretty quickly as it is only seven innings.

MGM Park is solid fun. It is home to the minor league baseball team Biloxi Shuckers. Food selections are good with a local flare. You can eat things like hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, dipping dots ice cream, etc. and they also have bbq, charbroiled oysters served from local vendors. They also serve alcohol from sprits to local craft beer. There is a souvenir shop located behind home plate. The bathrooms are always clean, the staff cleans up as the venues are playing. There are several choices of seating from affordable seats near left or right field lines to box seats in the Mercedes Benz area, tickets prices are very reasonable. MGM is currently building a raised walking path above HWY. 90 from the Beau Rivage, this should make parking easier and free. One thing to definitely catch is any firework show that is put on here, it is truly top notch! Please be on the lookout of fly foul balls...

A work in progress baseball stadium under the shadow of the Beau Rivage casino. More like a high school stadium MGM park doesn't have the amenities you see at many minor league stadiums around the country its very plain. They were late constructing it for the season so I may not have seen the finished product. Worst of all is the casino blocking the view of the gulf. Food was horrible, nice size hot dog but cold with a hard stale bun. With a drink the hotdog was $9. No restaurant or pool to beat the heat so I don't recommend day games and sneak in your own food. The gift shop is very expensive too, seems as if this is just another perk for staying at the casino. Would not be surprised if you can use points towards tickets, food and merchandise, if so that is the way to go plus suite access to get out the heat.

Glad we came early this time because the 1 star security team of homeless people were in charge again! 45 minutes to an hour just to park! I will say that the location is incredible with the views of the Gulf of Mexico. The convention was a fun affair, and the grounds for the center are quite nice. Parking prices aren't really that bad, as I have seen convention center parking prices go for four times what they are charging here. I didn't have to pay them as I was staying at the hotel next door to the convention center and it was an easy ten minute walk to the convention center floor, and it would be even less if you were going to the coliseum. The facilities inside are pretty standard for a convention center. Various large rooms that can be converted to handle most mid-size convention needs with smaller rooms available for breakouts. They do not allow outside food or drink, though I did get away with an empty water bottle that I then filled up at the water fountains, so that was good. The food at the canteen was surprisingly decent, and not hugely overpriced. Compared to what I saw in Orlando, the food is top notch, frankly. I got an excellent meatball sub that had been freshly cooked on the grill right there for under fifteen dollars, and the burgers that were coming off the grill also looked quite good. Drink prices were a bit silly... five dollars for a 20oz bottle of soda, when you could go thirty feet to one of the vending machines and get a 12oz can of the same soda for two bucks. Even so, I really enjoyed the convention and the facilities were definitely a contributing factor to that. I was going to give three stars, but the food brought them up a notch.

This is an epic (seriously, Hollywood level production) Christmas light show paired to the holiday music streaming on the radio of your car, and Hank Aaron Stadium knocked it out of the park! (See what I did there? Lol!) The show, the ease of navigating the layout, the directions, the innovation, the LIGHTS (my God -- the beautiful lights), the song selection, the comfort of enjoying from inside your vehicle and not freezing to death outside -- I loved all 20ish minutes of it! Everything was fabulous and like nothing I (nor the hubs) had every witnessed before! Mobile definitely knows how to put on a Christmas Light Show, and if you know like I know-- you'll grab your kid(s), grab $6 bucks per head over 3 yrs old, and get down to the stadium before the CNOL season ends. (Money more than well spent, trust me!) P.S. Keep your eyes peeled for Santa, he's there too!

Yeesh! I don't even know where to begin with the Mobile Civic Center!…read more It's here, standing (for now) and offering a public service -- I guess. I'm torn between the assessment of 2 and 3 stars. (3 being an average, but still positive, rating -- I don't think I can because my cons certainly outweigh the positives) There, it's settled. The hubs and I visited the Civic Center for the first time to attend a Mardi Gras ball. The place is HUGE, but extremely (severely and sorely) outdated. (Pretty sure that's why the city is soon tearing it down!) The restrooms were flooded halfway through the night, the restroom doors were hit or miss on locks, and don't even get me started on the shoddy AC-- you're cool in one room, literally burning up in the next. I did love looking down on the ball's main dance floor from the 2nd floor seating. Oh, and there was plenty parking -- am I reaching now?! Sorry. Did it serve its purpose? Yes! Would I be missing out if I never went back? No, not at all! Overall, it's a shell of an old building (that once was, maybe) that's workable for a few hours (before the flooding), and that's about all I've got on the Mobile Civic Center. I will say that the Mystics of Time is a great job of fixing it up and decorating the venue for their ball!
