He then told me that as much as he love to have me hire him, but realistically, my ducts are fine as they are and dont really need any cleaning done, he didnt try to sell me a service i didnt need. So while they have not done any work on my unit, they where honest and didnt try to scalp me for easy money. The difference was noticeable. They cleaned our home from top to bottom and the attention to detail was amazing. They went as far as to clean our shampoo and soap bottles. Pricing - We called around for estimates and Amor's pricing could not be beat. The saying goes you get what you pay for but that wasn't the case with Amor. We definitely got our moneys worth and then some. We went ahead and signed up for b-weekly cleanings. The day after the cleaning they called us back to make sure we were happy with our service. We just had both bathrooms fully remodeled but opted to keep the original 1935 floors and tubs. When the contractors were done with the remodel, the floors & tubs in both bathrooms were looking pretty rough... our next-door neighbors gave us an outstanding recommendation to call Ken... so we did! Best decision ever. Re-glazing was the plan. Ken came and took a look and advised to "refurbish" (if you will) the tubs and floors vs. re-glazing. We did and they look OUTSTANDING! They truly turned out beautifully! Ken and his assistant Scott were so kind and respectful. I met them at the house the first day, let them know we have a no-shoes rule (as we just refinished the hardwood floors)... they were very polite and complied with my request. When I popped by the house in the middle of the day, I found them both, still in socks, working away! We would absolutely recommend Ken and Scott... they are the guys for the job!!!!!

Without going into detail, he became angry when I had questions, and hung up on me. (I was not angry-ironically was preparing to tell him a friend had recommended him and schedule.) (I wasn't out to blindside him online-not trying to tank his business- but I wanted him to know this was REALLY not okay. I guess I hoped it wouldn't happen to someone else.) I should have known better. I received three texts personally insulting me, my contractor, etc. etc. from him. Clearly not a good fit and will not be working together so I almost didn't do a review. I can't review the work quality. But I thought a heads up may be appropriate in case this happens again. Sometimes it is hard to find a good fit. Hopefully it was just him having a bad day but...I think it is weird that I have to block someone with whom I had a pretty short phone call. (Technically two short calls. My first appointment was canceled because they were short staffed that day. My second appointment was 2 days later. I got an email confirming but by 10:30am no one had showed up. I called and left a message but no one ever called back. Finally, at 1pm I started cleaning the house myself. A text and email came at 12:45pm saying they were on their way. The maid showed up at 1:30pm. She did do a GREAT job! I gave her a generous tip. But I hate the fact that they don't communicate with their customers. I don't want to be left in the wind wondering if someone will show up or not. So my rating is based on communication issues only.
