I had to go for a…read morespecialty compounded prescription, one they actually mix together there custom for you, the kind you can't get at normal pharmacies. But I had also been trying for literally WEEKS to get another prescription filled at the big chains (they all told me they didn't have it in stock and they could try to order it but corporate could say no and even if they said yes it would be multiple weeks). It was causing me so much stress, and I had low hope after battling this issue for weeks, but I decided last minute to ask Gibson's if they could fill it, and they filled in ten minutes flat. TEN. MINUTES. FLAT, y'all. I won't lie, the place looks a bit shady and it's run down. And they have silly homeopathy snake oil too, and their hours are limited (they close at 6pm). But that's all inconsequential. They greet you warmly, they were super friendly, they were very fast, AND the pharmacist actually counseled me!! You know like how the receipt on your prescriptions from the big chains say "new prescription- counsel patient" but they never, ever, ever do? Plus, they have a nice little selection of natural essential oils and soaps and shampoos, etc. And their prices for over the counter stuff like cold medicines are super low! They meet or beat supermarket/big chain prices! I've only been here once, but I'm already loyal. Every medicine I need is coming from Gibson's until I move away!!

The only downside is that the pharmacy has changed their days of operation. They used to be open on Saturdays. They are now open Monday through Friday until 6 PM. However, I don't mind having to come in before or after work to pick up my medication's once a month. They are extremely friendly, always make sure that you know how to use your medication's properly and for my specific medication, they always pre-fill the syringes so I don't have to do it at home. I am very thankful that my doctor's office recommended them for my specific medication. The cost of my medication is a little bit lower than surrounding pharmacies, so that is also a major positive. Now, I cannot speak for all medication's, but the couple that I do get here are about 15% discount discounted from other pharmacies that I have gone to. Saving money any time you can is the way to go. They and the medication have been an absolute 360 and have better my health as a result. I will continue to come here for years to come! You cannot be a small town pharmacy like this one!
