Dr. Jaeger is first and foremost a terrific listener, and he is no less a knowledgeable diagnostician. After my thorough examination, Dr. Jaeger discussed his findings with me with detail that was helpful and in no way condescending. There was a mix up with my new glasses and he went above and beyond for me to make sure I get the right ones, but in the meantime I can see since my old glasses were so bad. I have only used the CMC Optical Shop for my eyeglass needs over the years and they have never disappointed me!

Unfortunately, we do not agree with the charges. She billed $184.00 for an eye exam plus $72.00 for refraction. Our insurance does not cover refraction, which is using different lenses to see what prescription is needed. You cannot do an eye exam without using refraction. To me separating those services is impossible. You can't call it an eye exam, if you don't use refraction. It is another way of obtaining more money for an eye exam. Unfortunately, it came out of my pocket. We will be looking for a new doctor and complaining to Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
