Angie is an amazing dog trainer! She provided in home training for us and our two cattle dog puppies. We were so impressed with Angie's knowledge and patience. She really understands dog behavior and tailors her training methods to each individual dog. My puppies have made so much progress thanks to Angie! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a positive and effective dog trainer and a great place for vacation boarding. She's truly made a difference for us and we're so grateful to have found her! Gilda King

I cannot say enough amazing things about Keen K9! We have a Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix named Bruce, and before training he was a lot. He had started barking and showing early signs of aggression toward other dogs especially small dogs and he constantly tried to herd my 6 year old pug and our cat. No matter how hard we tried, he was still having accidents in the house. We were honestly overwhelmed. We sent Bruce to Keen K9 at 5 months old, and the change was truly like night and day. I couldn't even believe it was the same dog. He came back so calm, confident, and focused. We can take him on walks now without him barking at other dogs (which used to be so embarrassing!). He even pottys on command which is AMAZING, especially on rainy days! And the herding? Gone. Completely gone. My pug, Mona, was terrified of him before, and now they sleep near each other and walk together like old friends. Bruce doesn't bother her or the cat at all. One thing that really sets Keen K9 apart is that they don't just train your dog they train you too. They don't just drop your dog off and hope for the best. They truly care about the long term success of their trainees, not only the dogs but the owners as well. We went through extensive training with them, and honestly... it was hard for us. I want to say it might've been even harder for Bruce. But I appreciate so much how deeply they care about making sure the whole family succeeds. They made sure we were confident and capable. And of course... Angie and Benny. The absolute BEST trainers you could ever ask for. They love what they do, and it shows in every single interaction. When Bruce came back from his train and board, he actually cried when they left, and to me that said everything. He was cared for, loved, and treated like family. And every time he sees them now, he lights up like he's seeing his best friends. Keen K9 is worth every single penny. You will not regret choosing this company. I wish them nothing but continued success and happiness. They truly changed our lives.

I can't recommend Keen K9 enough! My 3 year old rescue pitbull Rayne just finished a 6-week board and train, and came back a totally different dog. She used to run off after squirrels all the time on our ranch, but now with her e-collar recall and obedience training, I can let her roam without stressing. Angie, Benny and JJ were incredible -- super knowledgeable and clearly care about the dogs they train. Rayne came back happy, healthy, and confident. She's definitely enjoying her freedom and I finally have some peace of mind! Their prices are more than fair, and totally worth it!

After struggling for months with a dog who wasn't food motivated and ignored basic commands, I was starting to feel hopeless -- until we began e-collar training with Keen K9. It was a total turning point. The trainer took the time to explain how the e-collar works as a communication tool, not a punishment, which really put me at ease. It was gentle, precise, and allowed for real-time feedback that my dog actually responded to. Within just a few sessions, I saw incredible progress -- no more pulling, ignoring recalls, or darting after squirrels. Best of all, the training focused on building trust, not fear. Because my dog didn't care about treats, this method gave us a consistent and reliable way to reinforce good behavior. Our walks are now calm and enjoyable, and I can let my dog off-leash with confidence. They even helped with my 11-year old terrier mix. Freddie is not sitting and is not reactive towards other dogs. Old dogs can learn new tricks! If you've got a strong-willed or non-food motivated dog, don't give up -- this style of training might be exactly what you need. I'm beyond grateful for the transformation!
