I cannot say enough amazing things about Keen K9! We have a Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix named Bruce, and before training he was a lot. He had started barking and showing early signs of aggression toward other dogs especially small dogs and he constantly tried to herd my 6 year old pug and our cat. No matter how hard we tried, he was still having accidents in the house. We were honestly overwhelmed. We sent Bruce to Keen K9 at 5 months old, and the change was truly like night and day. I couldn't even believe it was the same dog. He came back so calm, confident, and focused. We can take him on walks now without him barking at other dogs (which used to be so embarrassing!). He even pottys on command which is AMAZING, especially on rainy days! And the herding? Gone. Completely gone. My pug, Mona, was terrified of him before, and now they sleep near each other and walk together like old friends. Bruce doesn't bother her or the cat at all. One thing that really sets Keen K9 apart is that they don't just train your dog they train you too. They don't just drop your dog off and hope for the best. They truly care about the long term success of their trainees, not only the dogs but the owners as well. We went through extensive training with them, and honestly... it was hard for us. I want to say it might've been even harder for Bruce. But I appreciate so much how deeply they care about making sure the whole family succeeds. They made sure we were confident and capable. And of course... Angie and Benny. The absolute BEST trainers you could ever ask for. They love what they do, and it shows in every single interaction. When Bruce came back from his train and board, he actually cried when they left, and to me that said everything. He was cared for, loved, and treated like family. And every time he sees them now, he lights up like he's seeing his best friends. Keen K9 is worth every single penny. You will not regret choosing this company. Called this business to ask about dog training. I received a text message asking for photos of my dogs and requesting info on questions I had. I provided the information and after four days still no response. Makes me believe they could care less about potential customers. I dont think I should have to chase a business down to obtain information. Also makes me question.their reliability. read more

My grandmother gifted me a blonde German Shepherd pup. This puppy was one of the last gifts my grandmother gave me before her passing. I really wanted to make sure that I had a well behaved, well trained doggy for the next 15 to 20 years. (Yes I'm hopeful) I looked all over, checked out a few places where they trained dogs it was really difficult for me to pick or choose one as you never know who to trust. I was recommended to wait till she was about five months before I started the training program. I wanted her to get crate training, potty training, and off leash training so I could have a companion for hiking, walks and not worry about a misbehaving puppy. I was recommended to Angie through a client of mine who had a beautiful beautifully well behaved, off leashed doggy to which I was thoroughly impressed with his behavior and ability to listen to commands. Of course, I was very nervous and reluctant to leave my beautiful girl to anyone, but I took a leap of faith and I couldn't be more happy that I did. Angie walked me through the process, showed me her successes with other pups and her training routine. She sent me videos of my girl during training kept me updated which eased my nervousness and anxiety. She also helped coach me in a routine to help my dog bond with me, how to correct bad behavior, how to reward good behavior. I get so many compliments on how well behaved my girl is, how well trained she is and how beautiful she is. (Angie can't take credit for that last one lol) To this day I regularly take my girl to Angie for boarding when I need to take business trips or small vacations and my little girl is always happy to see her!
