It's since been upgraded and is quite nice. What a lovely McDonald's, with free wifi and bathrooms for 10 CZK (about US$0.40). It has a separate McCafé counter and the entire establishment boosts some nice modern design elements in keeping with current international trends. The interior is quite possibly the nicest McDo I've seen anywhere. There's even a counter with electrical outlets. The food is about standard for McDonald's, perhaps on the tastier side, but I might be biased because of the proud capitalist historical tradition of this particular one. As an American, I'm ambivalent about American global fast food chains but at least they seem to acquit themselves quite nicely. Bathrooms: Really nice. Modern aesthetic design with dark woods and those space-age oval thingies for urinals and touch-less faucets. Even eco-friendly, with one of those stick-hands-in blow dryer things.

The baklava was thickly spiced with slight bitter notes, thick honey. It wasn't a dainty baklava. These are housemade, so they are slightly inconsistent day by day. The pohaca had great layered texture, some black sesame sprinkled on top, with a buttery burnt bottom and surprising feta inside. They specialize in Azerbaijani cuisine and offer several entrees and durum. One night I also enjoyed baklava, sekerpare, and bülbül yuvası. On my last visit, I made sure I was hungry enough to eat their durum. That was also quite good. I really wish I could return there right now.

The shop itself is very tiny... only maybe half a dozen people can stand there comfortably. So the line often goes out the door. It's not fancy or complicated. There are a handful of pretty basic options to choose from and a couple of drink options. They get bonus points for serving bottled Jaritos. Service was patient while we ordered and food was delivered pretty quickly. My husband got a burrito, which he did not finish (never a good sign). I got a bacon quesadilla, which seemed like a fairly safe option. It was OK. The bacon was really fatty. But it was hot, filled with cheese and made me not starving. So check. I DO think that if I had been out partying at a bar and needed something to scarf down at like 2 in the morning, Burrito Loco would be PERFECT. There is also the platter or burrito style! I choose the kebab box which was a terrific choice to take back to my hotel room! I could choose between rice or French fries. I decided to choose French fries which were cut so well like a crinckle c-shape that was so crispy despite being covered by my chicken, dressing and tons of fresh lettuce and tomatoes! OMG, they pile on the box, then shake it down and close the compact the "Chinese" takeout box! It was so delicious and plentiful! I could only eat half of my box because I was full!! Wished I could have finished it as it was so good! Never had anything like it plus so reasonable! Such a healthy choice too!
