Decided to try this place out as we've been frequenting Pita Pit up the road a bit & thought we'd try something different.
The place was dead at 7pm on a Wednesday night - not a great sign. The cabinet salads looked a bit sad & depleted, and the dishes on offer weren't cheap! (See photo)
Ordered 2 falafel doners from the lady behind the counter who didn't seem too happy to see us - you'd think she'd be falling over herself that she had customers!
I watched her making the kebab & she was very stingy with the falafel - we would have been lucky if we got 1, maybe 2 broken up falafels each.
So that's why this place ain't busy - $10 for a piece of bread filled with mostly cabbage salad & a few bits of chickpeas.
The falafel was average & we had to eat around big slices of raw onion - yuck. And she forgot one of my sauces.
Will not be returning. See ya soon, Pita Pit!!!
UPDATE: the next morning we both had dodgy tummies - ewwww! AVOID. read more
