AJ was the tech he was pleasant but when I saw my receipt I saw that he marked that he lubricated my door hinges, checked my air filter, my headlights, which NONE of that happened. So now I wonder if they even changed my oil and I had to look myself. I doubt they refilled or windshield washer or checked anything else. They can't even wipe a car down. Over pay and they are not good cleaners. I paid extra money to get my inside cleaned and wipe down and they basically just took my money because they did not wipe down anything or vacuumed my passenger side at all front or back. It's like I don't know what they did. I ended up driving off and didn't notice because I Was on a phone call but honestly, there's no reason why they couldn't just wipe things down correctly. I also got an oil change which it stated that it was $72. Don't know how it jumped up to over $104 but that's also a little annoying but it is what it is. Will I ever find a good car wash spot?? Kearny Auto Spa is really just ok, they get an "ehh". First of all, they are very pricey. I feel like I never get a quality wash even tho I'm paying upwards of 17 dollars for a full wash. There's always streaks, brake dust on my rims and spots that were left behind on the body. The employees are friendly enough, they always hold the door open for me when I get in the car. The receptionist really depends on the day, most of the time she's not too chipper. Lately I've been getting just the exterior done, which is 9 and some change. I feel like that's still pretty pricey for just running my car through the machine and doing a so so drying job. If you're a car wash fanatic, this spot does offer unlimited washes for around 32-34 bucks a month. I have to say, they are ALWAYS open. That's the one good thing about them. I would give them a shot if you're in the area. I'll probably return but only until I find something cheaper and better. The quest for a good car wash continues! read more

Such a disappointment with my last few visits here. Not sure what causes them to slack. Maybe the fact that they're so busy they're rushing through vehicles? They rush so much that on the last visit I was actually beeped at by a worker as he pulled up behind me to move my car off the lot. Maybe he accidentally beeped as he pulled up. Yet, I can't figure out the reasoning to why the back seat of my car was still left as if I didn't request the "extreme" vacuum. Unfortunately I was already home when I noticed this and didn't find it fair that I would have to drive all the way back for them to do their job right. I ended up doing it myself. Will definitely do a full inspection before pulling out that lot if I ever return. On a brighter side. Interior still had crumbs(little to begin with), key holder rubber sucked up by their vacuum, water marks along the side of the car and on the rear bumper and hatch. I was there Saturday 1/20 it was super busy, I asked for cleaning inside as well. I was charged $27.50 and they did not wash the floor mats. When I pointed it out I was told an inside cleaning is just wiping the dashboard. So the outside wash costs almost $30.00 once you add tip ?? Poor quality of service for the $ they charge. At the cost of $19.14 for cleaning the interior and exterior of my Honda HR-V, the job was mediocre at best. The interior windows were streaked, the back section was not vacuumed, the bird poop on outside was clearly visible. Make sure you check your car before you leave. Always a perfect wash and the crew does a great job and everyone on the staff is polite and professional. I always take my truck here for a Flex wash before vacation. It's a thorough exterior clean with a very good vacuum and interior cleaning. The guys who do this "mini detail" always get the truck looking like new before I pack the family in for a trip. I have been busy and needed to get my oil changed so I stopped in. The mechanic attempted to put the wrong type of oil in my car ( which was not rated for vw) he did not check the computer or the label in the engine bay which clearly indicates the right type of oil. Luckily, I was paying attention I think I caught it before he put any of the wrong oil in. I explained that I needed the right oil, he showed me the barrel of their European oil, which is the right type (502.00 rated) so I had them use that oil. In addition he topped off my coolant, which was unnecessary, without asking. He filled it over the max line with universal coolant, which is not rated for the VW. read more
