Nice and convenient location not too far from O'Hare airport. Good selection of both meats and salads as well as ready prepared meals. Service was fast and friendly and if you scan the QR code at the store you qualify for some nice store discounts. So during my trip to Chicago, I didn't really research Schiller Park at all. Apparently it is the Polish side of town. When I was here during late October, there must have been some Polish holiday because a lot of the employees were dressed up. There is a wide selection of grocery items, beer/wine (not sure about liquor), and a huge selection of baked goods. Prices are reasonable. No real comments on customer service as I like to explore on my own. As a Hoosier, I of course purchased some COLD BEER from a grocery store, which is against the law in Indiana. I really wanted to come here on Sunday and purchase a cold beer (which is also against the law in Indiana) but I didn't have time. read more

Love this place. Everything I have gotten I love ! Today I bought like 5 soups and they are all awesome. Mushroom, chicken barley , split pea, vegetable. All amazing. I went in for stuffed cabbage and leave with so much more. Great prices too. Only challenge is I don't speak polish so I have a bit of trouble ordering. read more

I really like this store because it's convenient for me to go and their selection of produce is really good and the Polish products that I like are always in stock, However their deli is horrible and I don't mean the products yes some stuff is not the greatest but the staff is beyond rude! They roll their eyes and talk back to you when you have questions or concerns I feel like they purposely cut the meats and cheeses overly thin or overly thick just so people are unsatisfied if they don't pay attention at the moment and they find out at home. I would give the store five stars if it wasn't for the rude people working there!!! read more

Friendly service, good fresh breads, and a good selection of European pastries. While mainstay Polish foods such as stuffed cabbage and kielbasa are abundant, I found that some of my favorites such as tilapia and breaded chicken wings aren't always available. And the beer and wine selection is rather limited. Otherwise it's a nice, handy deli for me and my wife to walk to when we have a craving for Polish food. read more

I nice little Polish grocery store with a big meat/deli counter. They had lots of chips and snacks and sweets too, as well as a lot of more obscure grains and staples. Despite being part Polish, i never even ate a pierogi growing up, so it was all new to me, but I got some stuff to try. Prices seemed pretty good. A good place for a foodie to wander. read more

My wife called me at work and told me she was not feeling well and would I mind picking up some sandwich makings. It was already 6pm and I was not sure what would be open outside of a regular grocery. Not overly familiar with the area, I figured I would take a look to see what there was nearby. Enter my Yelp mobile nearby app feature - As I suspected most deli type places had just closed, but I noticed there was one that was open later and had good reviews. Polish is spoken first here but they are more than happy to help a stranger in a strange land, which I was. I enjoyed the deli, lots to take in for the short time I was there. I was tasked with sandwich night so I grabbed a yummy fresh baked loaf of bread that has no preservatives in it and was affordably priced. I also grabbed two different kinds of ham, some turkey and some swiss cheese. If you like kielbasa, they have you covered. I grabbed some house made coleslaw from the cooler and some pickles from the pickle barrel. The kids are big on mayo so I noticed some 'polish' mayo, read the label, thought it sounded interesting to try, so in the basket it went. I did a quick scan on produce for deals, a couple examples, I scored five red grapefruits for one dollar. I also scored three bundles of kale for under a 1.50 I think, it was a really good deal. All told, I think my bill with tax was $26, I do not think I could have gotten out of Pot Belly for that. read more

I'm very disappointed! Its not the first time I bought old meat from this store! I asked specifically if the meat is fresh although the little cards on each meat tag said FRESH. The meat date is still good for another 3 days and it stinks so bad that I just opened the plastic wrapper and already knew because the smell is that strong . Beside this the Vegetable salad tasted like it was frozen and the baked bacon is not fresh. I think they forgot that they're feeding people... read more

If you're into Polish food, check this place out. It's mainly a Polish deli, so there's no shortages of Polish comfort food like stuffed peppers, stuffed cabbage, pierogis and kielbasa. And the bakery always has kolacky and other Euro-style pastries. I always get the stuffed peppers but I also like the cold chicken wings (at the cold prepared food section) and on Fridays their breaded tilapia (at the hot food deli section) is a must-have for me. Generous selection of fresh produce. An interesting item is their meat egg rolls which remind me of croquetas that I see in Florida markets; they're filling enough to be a meal in itself. Lots of free parking next to the Schiller Park police station; we love to go there in person so unfortunately I don't know if they offer delivery. Warning: it may be a little crowded on Saturday mornings. read more

Very disappointed lately with their service. The last drip was when i asked for ham to be sliced thin and when i open it at home it looked like gyros. This wasn't the first time. We also had problem with other items such as made soups tasted like it been over expired date. I live in Schiller Park and we use to go to shop at KD often but not any more. There has been new deli open at Belmont/Cumberland which they doing much better job so far. KD, please step up your game or you going to lose clients! I hate to post such a review but I also hate to waste time and money. read more

What's not to like about this place? I enjoy coming here, everything is fresh and made the same day if you visit the deli. Note this is a polish store and everyone speaks polish, don't be afraid staff also speaks English. Store is clean and staff is friendly. This store makes me feel like home. Very cozy and family like, I sure enjoy coming here. One plus is they have restrooms inside. You can find a variety of things which is the reason why I like coming here such as good variety of sausages, fresh baked bread/ buns. If you haven't been here you must visit. I also love the cheese and meats variety they have. ;) one of my favorite places to shop. read more

Don't be alarmed if you speak English and cant understand anybody in this store. It is because they all speak Polish and you have ventured into a Polish Grocery and Deli. The produce is good and always seems fresh and the meats are great and priced well... They have warm lunches and make fresh sandwiches at the Deli; both are great values and you cant beat the freshness. While the English speaking staff is limited they have always been very nice and very accommodating. The parking lot is easy. Clocktower Park is across the street by Russo Power Equipment and you can eat lunch at the picnic tables. All in all, I will continue to stop by from time to time for lunch... read more

Selection at the deli is horrible and it doesn't seam like it will be fresh because the store is always empty at least couple of times that I have been in there! I have been to other locations and they are better stacked with product overall. Price point is more expensive in general but deli prices are significantly more than other supermarkets. The place is clean and looks organized. Not worth my trip, I'm better off going to deli by my house. read more

The store is not so small, it will take you a while to wonder through the aisles. Homemade foods are delicious and prepared on a daily basis, hot bar is great, very popular carry out place. Good and fresh produce section. When in doubt what to chose ask the clerks who are very helpful. read more

Totally authentic Polish deli and grocery store. When my friend I came everyone else here was speaking Polish. never saw such a huge selection of kielbasa varieties. they have one small table, but basically this is a to go place. there is a nice little park across the street where you can eat your lunch. the grocery part has an impressive selection of Polish products. a very clean place which seems to be quite popular read more

Very authentic Polish grocery. Their pastries are phenomenal. Their hams are so good. We also took home their grilling chicken and marinated pork. Both were very good. The pork was the stand out. Their barrel kraut is also very good. read more

Grabbed Salatka Jarzynowa today. Nice variety of deli items and salads. Got in and out for what I wanted for lunch. Good prices.
