I have used KC Lawn Care for three years now and they have always done an excellent job. They are very knowledgeable in their craft and really do take the time to thoroughly walk down the property. I have always appreciated their service and they have always offered me the most competitive pricing. It was certainly nice to have received a phone call reminder to blow out my sprinklers, otherwise I would be repairing a lot of freeze damage next year. The negative reviews seem to be a trend of people who didn't provide an accurate description of their yard or where their system hookups were. Be descriptive when you call so there aren't any unexpected surprises. These are good guys who do good work. I have never been surprised by unexpected costs because I provide an accurate description of my yard/system when I schedule an appointment. They quote you a discounted price and a senior discount, but when you ask for them, they tell you that your yard is too big to qualify such a discount. He is already doing you a favor with the price he is giving you. They are also non-responsive then asking for a receipt for services rendered. I had them do a couple of lawn mowings and a fertilizer treatment for us before we moved out of state: I got the first receipt because I think he thought there would be more business. Then, after the last service, I told him I was moving but needed a receipt for the last lawn mowing and the fertilizer. Never got it. I moved and called for one to be sent. Nothing, I emailed on his website address. Nothing. I called again and again and emailed again and again. Still a big, fat NOTHING. If they can't keep their written promises, they aren't going to do what they say in regards to taking good care of your lawn and your working relationship. Don't bother. I had set up an appointment to have my sprinklers blown out today. I when I answered the door the 2 gentlemen were outside and asked me where the hookups were. I told them I just bought this house and I am unsure of what it is they are looking for. They both look at me and one says "better figure it out quick" and as I am looking around my yard and find what I think they are looking for one says to the other, "whatever let's get out of here" and hurry and get in their truck and leave. I am unimpressed by this business, I called them because I do not know how to do this service and acted as if it was proposterous that I was usure how to do their job.
