The negative reviews seem to be a trend of people who didn't provide an accurate description of their yard or where their system hookups were. Be descriptive when you call so there aren't any unexpected surprises. These are good guys who do good work. I have never been surprised by unexpected costs because I provide an accurate description of my yard/system when I schedule an appointment. He is already doing you a favor with the price he is giving you. They are also non-responsive then asking for a receipt for services rendered. I had them do a couple of lawn mowings and a fertilizer treatment for us before we moved out of state: I got the first receipt because I think he thought there would be more business. Then, after the last service, I told him I was moving but needed a receipt for the last lawn mowing and the fertilizer. Never got it. I moved and called for one to be sent. Nothing, I emailed on his website address. Nothing. I called again and again and emailed again and again. Still a big, fat NOTHING. If they can't keep their written promises, they aren't going to do what they say in regards to taking good care of your lawn and your working relationship. Don't bother. You also can't find their address listed anywhere. What does that tell you?

I moved here at the end of July and purchased a house with a little pond/waterfall. It was full of algae so I requested that SW come and clean it. I was "on the schedule" but a week later, no one had come. I texted the employee to remind him, and he did come and drain the pond. A month later, I contacted the manager to explain how frustrated I was that Jeremy never came back and filled the pond back up, even though I had texted him a reminder, and his reply was that, "well, we may have Jeremy a bit overbooked." Jeremy did come to fill it. Half full. I texted him yesterday to see if it was broken or could I fill it up. He texted back that he would come look at it. Well, he did come. And he left. No word to me. I went out this morning and the motor to the waterfall was thumping like crazy and no water was moving. I managed to unplug the motor so that it didn't break. I had also asked the manager/owner to put me on the books to have my plants pruned and cut back asap, since I had family visiting. If they couldn't fit me in, no problem, but if they could, I'd appreciate it. That was on Monday. It is now Saturday morning, and no one has every contacted me about taking care of my plants. I hate to leave a negative review. It is not my character, but Seasons West surely does not have customer service in mind. Very sad.
