I'm so glad I found this place! I needed a last-minute birthday arrangement and called about four hours before they closed. The owner was an absolute lifesaver. They not only delivered a stunning bouquet but also helped me craft the perfect message since I couldn't be there. The birthday girl called me to say she loved it--it was beautiful! Not picture as 80 year old is unfamiliar with how to send pictures Highly recommend for their amazing service and gorgeous flowers, even on short notice. read more

Best floral shop with excellent customer service....fresh beautiful flower arrangements for any budget!!

I called KC Floral towards the end of a business day and asked if a delivery could be made to my daughter who was turning 20 years old. I live 3 hours away and this was the first time in 20 years where I wasn't able to spend with my daughter on her birthday. As a mom, I felt a bit emotional and needed to send something in lieu of not being there. The owner of KC Floral said "Yes" to my request! I was pleasantly surprised, because I called 3 previous floral companies and they told me no. A beautiful arrangement was put together and delivered that same day! My daughter called me and said how beautiful the arrangement was. It put a smile on her face and that meant the world to me. Thank you KC Floral!! You provide great customer service! I will definitely order again. read more

Pretty disappointed with the arrangement that I purchased. I am giving two stars because they sound like nice people, however, they need to provide what one is paying for. I made an online order for a birthday arrangement delivery to a friend. It was suppose to be a surprise, but KC Florals accidentally called my friend informing her of the arrangement. I get it, accidents happened. They called me to let me know of their mistakes but insisted that they would make up for it by adding balloons and additional flowers. Delivery overall was good, but when my friend sent me a picture of what she received, I was so sad! KC florals informed me that some flowers would be out of season and they would be adding substitutes, again, I get it. BUT I did not except for it to look so different. I paid $77.93 and the arrangement looks like it could've been from a grocery store /: very disappointed and to top it off, no balloons were added to the order. Please keep in mind that I chose an arrangement directly from their website and had high hopes that it would resemble at least what I thought I was purchasing. read more

KC Floral - This is a designers choice birthday bouquet - Florists Near Me - Merced, California

This place is such a treasure in Merced. I was honored to learn that the owner Keith himself answered my call in the middle of making deliveries, and then met me back at his store to start working on my order. He made this beautiful arrangement when I simply gave him the color schemes, occasion, and budget. I didn't expect him to add a vase and big ribbon. He's so personable and welcoming that we ended up chatting for a while. He offered to take the flowers to my car when he saw me struggling with my child's stroller. I didn't realize he went back to his store just for my order until I saw him leaving when I did. He had a sign in his shop that said something like "come in as strangers, leave as friends." Sure felt that way. Definitely will use this place for future occasions! read more

UPDATE 9/10:2018: Just received this beautiful and lovely arrangement from Keith C. at Gene the Florist and I have to say, "Thank you very much!" I appreciate this kind gesture and will definitely call you for our next order! ORIGINAL REVIEW 9/6/2018: Hubby sent me an arrangement for our anniversary and he ordered them through Gene the Florist for the very first time. I hate to say it, but I could have done better myself and I am not a professional florist. The flowers and sprigs used look like scraps from larger jobs. There were only 3 lilies used in a wide-mouth vase. Please see pics. When I called and spoke to the business, I was eventually given a refund. I appreciate that and told them I am willing to give them another chance. I would have given this florist a 1; however, since a refund was offered I gave them a 3 and will give them another opportunity to earn my read more

I was Gene's first yelp order! Every year I special order flowers for my mom on my birthday. When I called to see if everything had gone through properly. I was also able to make sure that the flowers would be delivered before a certain hour and they were delivered well before it. There was a slight modification on the arrangement that I ordered, because some of the flowers weren't available. In the end it didn't matter because the assortment still looks great! The reason I'm writing the review is so people can make sure a decent floral arrangement is being sent. These arrangements are expensive as it is. My mother received a floral arrangement from KC floral yesterday and it was pretty bad. The flowers had dried up petals, they were flimsy and just a bad overall presentation. It looks like they got random old flowers and just stuck them in a vase. The roses were nice. The lilies were still closed (which is expected). All the other flowers were ugly and old. I've had flowers sent to me and I've sent flowers to people, I've never seen an arrangement like this. These pictures were taken yesterday the day the flowers arrived. read more

This place is the first florist shop I've ever contacted. A woman named Kay Answered the phone. Very polite courteous patient and so helpful made everything so easy for me to order. Made me feel comforted during this time that our families loved one is in the hospital. Shared a story of her own that touched my heart. This business is not just about flowers, they are working to touch lives with caring hands and hearts. Kay, at Gene the Florist went above and beyond to help make my sister's birthday special. She added some extra touches to my arrangement, because it was a special occasion. She's very creative and talented which made for an arrangement that was unique! Not many places will do that for a customer, without charging extra. She just did it. That makes all the difference. I shall rely upon her for all my floral needs in the future. She's won my favor and loyalty, and doesn't even know it:) All of Merced county should rely upon her at Gene the Florist. We came up to Merced from Orange County for Mother's funeral the night before and realized we had not ordered flowers for the sad event. In desperation calling every florist in town at 5:30 p.m. I finally reached Jeannine. After explaining what we needed there was no time wasted to make the most beautiful arrangement professionally done by Keith. A large spray that included red and pink roses, white mums, white hydrangeas at the center and to top it off white dendrobium orchids. I am forever grateful! Now If i can only figure out how to post the picture of the spray then you would see what a fantastic last minute job Gene the Florist arranged for us. Thank you! read more
