I'm honestly really disappointed with the service here. Last year, we tried to order a corsage and boutonniere for prom and were told they wouldn't take our order because it was Mother's Day weekend. While that was frustrating, we understood it was a busy time. However, this year we went in a month and a half before prom and prom is not Mother's Day weekend this year and were again turned away and told to "come back later." There was no effort to help, no attempt to take a future order. It really feels like this shop simply doesn't want the business. On top of that, the staff came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. If you're looking for a place that values customers and is willing to help you plan ahead, I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

I live in AZ and had flowers delivered to my MIL who just had hip surgery in CA. When ordering the flowers on the phone and looking at the photo of the flower arrangement, my husband and I did say that a few white roses could be changed out to yellow or pink to brighten it up a bit. We were very specific in that the enchanted cottage was what we wanted to order and chose the the $59.99 size since we had to pay an extra $15 for the delivery. When the flowers arrived it had 5 yellow roses only, no white or the total rose count of 12 total in different sizes. Yes, the roses are what is paid for the other stuff is filler. Please notice the 2 photos. We did not get what was asked for or paid for, When Aloha Floral was contacted, they couldn't care less. I went in today at around 4:45pm. I walked in was not greeted but as I walked back into the store I saw a clerk behind the counter on her personal phone. I stood there waiting for her she looked up from texting and I asked if she had any cut lilies. Her comment was all we have is in the back in the glass case. She continues to text on her phone. I looked in the case and walked out. I have worked retail most of my life and if this employee was mine in my store she would have been gone. I will not be back to this store. Let me start with Service was great. I had a Center Christmas Arrangement delivered to my Mom for Christmas. They called and said they didn't have the Silver vase on the website and if it's okay to substitute with something similar. I said sure! Well, Not even close! I met the owner, who is really nice. They have a good selection of Hello Kitty items. Small stuffed animals and lots of other stuff to check out, too. TL;DR: Aloha Floral refuses to refund or substitute an item that was pre-paid for because it was purchased 18 months ago. Aloha Floral was selling Disney wallets with a pre-order. We purchased two wallets and left two phone numbers for contact when the items arrived. On month two, we didn't hear a response, so we called to follow-up. They said these items were back ordered and they didn't have them yet. On month five, we called back. He was very rude and said that they don't have the items and they would call us when they arrive in stock. On month 8 we call back. One of the two items arrived. They never called us. We go inside pick up the item and ask about the other. They said it is not here yet and they would call. We didn't receive a call. Life happened and this issue was forgotten. But we suddenly remembered. We called back on month 20 to inquire about the remaining item. He started off by blaming us saying that we waited too long to call back. That they don't keep records past six months. And that there is nothing they can do. His argument was that if this were a big box store, even they wouldn't be able to refund or substitute the item. If Aloha Flora was a big box store, they would have followed-up with us more frequently and canceled/refunded the item when they knew they couldn't deliver. And no matter the size of your business, the IRS requires you keep your files for at least 3 years. And the fact still remains, WE PAID FOR AN ITEM THAT WAS NEVER DELIVERED. read more

I am from out of state and needed a sympathy floral arrangement for my aunt's funeral. I expected that since it's a shop, they'd have decent quality. I later found out that aloha floral has been in merced for a long time, but what I received was not quality products. I had ordered a standing spray. Here are the things I am upset about: 1) It was delivered on Friday. I had asked for a Saturday morning delivery. I got to the funeral home on Saturday so I was expecting the delivery later that morning. Once I got there, my cousins told me it was delivered the night before 2) The floral arrangement was NOT FULL. It does NOT look like how it looks as it was shown on the website. It has spaces in between the flowers, and there's a chunk of flowers in the middle that are wilted. 2) I added on a ribbon with letterings and was told it starts at $15. I believe I paid $20 extra for the ribbon. I was expecting something of quality, but it looked like a kid did a poor DIY project. It was gold lettering which I was told, but I wasn't told the lettering was going to be stapled poorly to the ribbon. The ribbon also was not put on nicely either, so if you wanted to read what it says, you'd have to pay close attention/move your head/move the ribbon. **See attached photo** Like I said, I paid EXTRA for the ribbon. ALSO, I am from out of state so I wasn't expecting to have to make my own ribbon AT the funeral home. This was exactly why I paid extra for the ribbon. After finding out there was a POORLY MADE ribbon on my sympathy floral arrangements at the funeral home, I had to take off that ribbon, then go buy products to make my own ribbon. Had I known I would have to just make my own, I would've never paid extra for the crappy job. It was embarrassing having to make a ribbon AT the funeral home, but we had to do what we had to do to make the floral arrangement complete. 4) I was not given confirmation of any sort. I had no email follow up breaking down the price, nor did I get a text or call saying it was delivered. I would have appreciated any sort of communication from this business. Overall, I do not recommend this business and will be taking my money elsewhere. This business is unprofessional, has bad quality products, and simply should not be a legit business. read more

please read before placing order. *i was threatened by an owner dj at this location. he stated that if i leave a bad review he will counter my review all because i addressed my product dissatisfaction and had requested for a resolution. my honest review from a customer that have supported all our local flower shops. but this is my first and last with this place. please save your money or take it somewhere else. merced floral. anywhere but this shop. this place is a joke! basically this is the best they can do for their customers. read the fine print when placing an order online because there's a cache. customers should be ok with what they received and paid for. when you call for a resolution, you will not get your refund, the people there are so unprofessional and will argue with you instead of assisting their customer and coming to a fair resolution. they are basically saying we are "shit out of luck" and we should be ok with the product they delivered. you would expect to pay for a product and some what receive a similar good in return. don't expect this with this floral shop. i understand that there are substitutes but look at the arrangement i received compared to the one i ordered. poor customer service skills, 100% lack of professionalism and total waste of money and time talking to them. i am being generous with a 1 star. if you want something like this, walgreens have better selections. read more

Their prices are fairly high for the goods they sell, which is understandable considering that they are a gift shop, but if you dedicate the time to look through everything they have to offer, you can save money by buying in multiples of 2 or 3 alike items. When I came here I noticed that each Funko Pop is priced at $14.95, but because I purchased 3, I was able to get a discount that priced each at around $10, which is close to what I would pay if I shopped online. read more

If your arrangement is important do not use this florist. They delivered on the wrong day and made major changes to order even though I checked the no substitution box. Ordered a Zen Garden got an Aloha style arrangement. This was for a memorial service although the wrong day delivery meant no arrangement present. Owner does not understand good customer service. Offered a $20 credit at their store and I live 2 hours away. He refused to refund unless I took the arrangement from my sister in law and drove it back to return it, a 4 hour journey roundtrip. Very very unhappy but I want to save others the anguish. Sister in law suggests using Merced Florist. They provided the service flowers and they were fresh and lovely. read more

I ordered a floral arrangement for my mom mom's b-day yesterday. When I arrived to her house I was surprised to see it was NOTHING like the arrangement that I took hours to carefully choose. I understant that substitutions can happen due to availability, however, i don't think its fair that the ENTIRE arrangement was different, from the vase to every type of flower. The arrangement I chose was a short squared vase and receieved a tall skinny rectangle, the flowers were suppose to be lilies, cream roses (full size) and other assorted pink flowers, instead she received carnations, daisies and tiny little mini roses. I always make sure my hubby orders flowers for me here because they have the best arrangements in merced! I ordered flowers for my mother to congratulate her on her new job. I ordered and paid for a "congratulations" balloon to be sent with the flowers. Not only did they send a totally different bouquet than what I ordered, but they didn't send the balloon. The flowers weren't very fresh-looking either. I was really upset because I paid extra for that, and I really wanted to make a big statement for my mom and her new job. I emailed a few times asking to have a replacement sent, or to be refunded the amount for the balloon, and no one has responded and it's been a month. I ordered an arrangement for my moms birthday. I live in San Diego so I don't have the luxury to take her flowers or pick them out in person. I paid $50 for a beautiful bright looking arranged displayed on the site. An hour later the owner or whoever calls me saying what I ordered has flowers in the front and not the back and I can pay 10 extra for flowers all around. Like cmon... what a ploy. So I opted for the custom option with similar flowers and same colors to do all around for same price. My mom sent pictures and was so happy about her surprise but I am not satisfied with the look of the arrangement. Honestly it was just small and unimpressive and the bow looked kinda cheap.
